I am so thankful for YourBestGrade! I studied for my nursing exit Hesi with the provided materials my school recommended and received a score of 790. My school requires a 850. I was so upset. I only had a week and a half to prepare for my re-take and I bought YourBestGrade and passed my second time with a 940! I am in an accelerated nursing program which did not leave me as much time as I would have liked to spend in YourBestGrade, but in the week and a half I had, I made sure to do all the 160 practice exams and remediated. This program was by far a life savior! I am actually required to take the nursing exit Hesi twice during my last term and score an 850 or above. I take my second one next week and will continue to utilize this program even more to prepare. I feel confident because of YourBestGrade!! I can not recommend this enough! Do not hesitate, this program works!

This was probably the best $97 I have ever spent on anything school related. I scored in the 700s on HESI exams in the beginning of my nursing program, but after getting YBG, my HESI scores ranged anywhere between 950-1200. I never thought I could pass HESI until I got this program.

It's okay if you are not doing well on the YBG questions as long as you focus on understanding the rationales for the answer choices. I didn't think I was improving until I re-took specialty HESI exams (my program requires us to retake them all over again by specialty during the last semester to ramp up for the exit HESI). I was so surprised to find out how much YBG molded my brain into thinking like HESI.

And I passed my RN Exit HESI (first try) with 1,012 today (our school requires 900)!

I couldn’t have passed without your help, my school requires a minimum grade of 900 to graduate and I took the Exit HESI three times only getting 800’s, struggling barely getting my highest score of 863, during my first three attempts at the HESI. I was so frustrated because this resulted in me not being able to graduate in the summer of 2021 with my classmates and having to wait for graduation in fall. I was very frustrated and I figured I must be doing something wrong, so I decided to research ways to improve my HESI score and I discovered YBG online. I read your intro and testimonials and it resonated with me, so I decided to give it a try because I didn’t have much more to lose. Today I am happy to report that after reading your orientation, following your recommendations and doing the practice tests, I did my Exit HESI today and I got 985.

I originally purchased this to study for HESI and then used it to study for NCLEX.

This is a test bank only. There are ten 30-question practice tests, seven 160-question tests, some questions they are testing out, and then three 110-question tests for LPNs.

What I liked: This helped me practice answering questions and also build up my stamina to prepare for the HESI. I got a lot more experience with SATAs, which I needed. (My NCLEX was probably 50% SATA, so be aware.)

This course will assume a certain level of knowledge and only quiz you on stuff that you may not know. For instance, they don't waste their time on testing whether you know that you can't push potassium. So, be aware that the questions are tricky and even with solid understanding of the concepts, you are going to get a lot wrong and feel like crap. But, that is the point so don't worry about it. It is more helpful than the online Saunders test bank for me.

What I didn't like: I don't like the model all the test banks use of providing a rationale for a specific question. It does not provide the basic background knowledge you should know so that you can apply the answer to a future different question. For instance, if the question is about patient teaching for a Cushing's, they will only address the patient teaching as it relates to that question. I would get more out of some bullets of the first, best, and most pertinent patient teaching for Cushing's and then how that knowledge could be applied to that question. You are NEVER going to see these questions again on a HESI or NCLEX, so knowing the answer to that specific question based on the rationale is limited in usefulness.

I felt like I was filling my mind with all these details that were really in the weeds, and spending precious study time remembering whole bunch of random and specific stuff I would never see again. You don't have to know all that random stuff to pass these tests. You have to have a firm grasp on basic content and be able to apply that.

Test banks help you practice answering questions. That is it. You are not going to learn what you need to know for these tests through rationales. And even if you did, that is not an efficient way to convey the material.

I used this and an exam review to improve my scores. I cannot overemphasize how integral Mark Klimek's review was to passing HESI and NCLEX. He covers content and teaches you how to answer questions. You NEED to know patient prioritization, which none of the other materials I used included. Rationales on "who to see first" in a test bank does not teach prioritization that you can apply in a different question.

I think the importance of these test banks and rationales are overemphasized. More time and energy should be targeted to making sure you understand the basics and how to answer the questions - which you get with a review like Mark Klimek.

How I did: I did all the practice tests and two full length tests. My average was 71%, the program's median is 63.3%. My grades were all over the place, the last test I took I got 60%, which was below the median grade. Overall, over the course of using the quiz bank, my grades did not improve. I was really concerned that I was not prepared for HESI based upon my performance. But, in the end I scored 1250 on HESI and NCLEX shut off in 75 question. However, I really credit a lot of this to the Mark Klimek review. This test bank is a supplement, a valuable one indeed, but it should NOT be your primary emphasis.

Your best grade is the best I passed with a great score I urge all taking hesi to try this out ….

I started using the program a week before my Hesi , I didn’t have much time to spend on it but I was still able to do all the 160 questions test and one of the adaptive test. I passed my Hesi in my first try with over 1100 points. This program helped my a lot in understanding how the Hesi looks like and works, I’m very grateful for that.

Honestly, I was given up on your best grade. LOL. But, I started to take my time and go back and carefully read the questions and rationales. I started to see some improvements on my HESI specialties and HESI PN exit. I passed on my last try with an 992. I was really amazed by this score. Best advice I can give is to slow down and read. I will be back for my RN success.

I bought Your Best Grade in my second semester of a 5 semester combined LPN to RN program, after scoring in the low 800s on my first ever HESI. I utilized YBG exclusively to prepare for my HESI tests and used it along with lecture notes and assigned reading to study for unit exams.
When I took my next HESIs, my scores were consistently in the 950-1000+ Range.

I utilized YBG and it’s CAT exams and exit exams to prepare for the NCLEX-PN. The CAT assessments both indicated a Pass. The NCLEX-PN cut off at 75 questions with a Pass!

I am now in my last semester of the RN portion of my program and am utilizing YBG to prepare for my benchmark HESI on Friday as well as unit exams and my HESI exit exam. I will also be using the program to study for my NCLEX-RN in December.

Not only has this program been a game changer for me, the customer service is fantastic! I believe them when they make a promise.

A great Product!
This site helped me pass the Exit Hesi! I had to take it twice to pass. I did use this site the first time and failed but that was my fault. I took the exam at night after I had worked all day. I was exhausted and didnt take breaks during the exam. When I took it a second time I finally completed all the questions on this site. My scores were not good but I learned alot! In addition I took the second attempt during the day, I took off work and I took several breaks. Like every 30 questions I took like a 10 minute break. It took me well over 5 hours to complete the exam but BOTTOM LINE I PASSED! So use this site in its entirely!!!! It will get you through the EXIT HESI FOR RN!

If you are contemplating using this to pass HESI for school, get it NOW! It literally saved me. It also helped prepare me for NCLEX, but I would recommend getting one other resource for that (I used HURST personally). I hate doing practice questions, but I found that in order to pass HESI and NCLEX, you need to do 3000 questions in your last semester. I know, I know... a TON! But, it worked. I passed my NCLEX with 75 questions too. The HESI guide here may have some questions very similar to the HESI test you take in class.

I'm a life learner and late bloomer. I am over 50 and decided to go back to school to earn my LPN licensure. I was confident in myself as a learner but was also apprehensive and had anxiety about the unknown. I had heard about Your Best Grade from some of my classmates as a tool to help study for the HESI-PN Exit Exam but was unsure about it because I thought it was like all the other programs on the market that boast about its effectiveness. This is a wonderful products. I must say that the questions are very challenging. However, it pushes you to think critically. Do not be discouraged when you see low scores, the important thing is to carefully read the rationales. My school required 850 and I passed with over a 1000 using this product mostly. Be consistent with the practice and read the rationales.
