Gavin was recommended to us by our mortgage broker, and he carried out a level 3 survey on a property that we are purchasing.
Initial contact was very quick and all was clearly explained to us in advance of the survey taking place.
The survey itself was carried out within a few days and we received a comprehensive report within 48 hours. The report was detailed and gave us a lot of reassurance about the property, and included many many photos that were helpful in clarifying some of the points raised.
Gavin also offered us the opportunity for a phone/video call to talk through the report in detail, and although we didn't feel this was necessary, we really appreciated the offer.
He then followed up to make sure that we were comfortable with the report findings and to check for any points of query.
All in all a great service from start to finish - thank you!

I used the surveying services of Your Surveying Partner Ltd to undertake a Level Three survey for a Grade II listed property that my partner and I had an accepted offer on.

Wishing to fully understand the degree of some initial concerns noted with the property, Your Surveying Partner Ltd were commissioned to undertake the survey. Throughout the survey process Your Surveying Partner Ltd acted quickly and diligently. They were extremely helpful by consulting directly with the estate agents for booking the survey in a timely manner. This helped take some of the burden off us for all things ‘buying and selling,’ and Your Surveying Partner Ltd were in contact with me regularly. This was made easier by short calls and texts, as well as emails when needed, and to make the best use of my time with so much going on.

The scope, depth, and presentation of the Level Three survey was hugely helpful. This was to not only understand the degree of initial concerns and potential for short-, medium- and long-term repairs/costs, but also to understand the Grade II listing upkeep requirements. Contextual photos and references provided clear and understandable information and helped my partner and I make an informed decision about the purchase.

The resulting decision after review and understanding of the survey was to withdraw our offer. Although it is easy to state the money for this level of survey is not recoverable, it is without doubt money well spent to ensure that we were not faced with significant costs if we hadn’t commissioned this level of survey.
