Good service - easy to use

Easy to use App and great to know that even items of no value are often given to charity and not disposed of. Payment settlement was also swift.

I've used Zapper several times and always had a very good outcome. I'd recommend over other similar providers.

Straightforward to use and easy to package up goods, print out the label and drop them off. Payment was relatively fast too.
The only downside are the very low prices they offer. Still if you have a lot of stuff to get rid of they are certainly a help.

You’ll see one price on their website when hoping to sell. Another price is quoted in the email and then finally an even lower price when they’ve received your goods. I’d stick with music magpie if your hoping to use a trust worthy and consistent company

Very straightforward. They offered a good price for my books compared to other companies. Simple transaction and didn't have to wait long to be paid.

Zapper is a great place to sell your unwanted books. It took a while for the books to be assessed but once completed the money was paid into my account without any problems.

Got a nice offer for my iPad Pro, so agreed the trade. Great. No confirmation email at all about anything, just DPD collecting parcel emails, DPD came on the Friday (10 days ago) and delivered it to them on the Saturday, again no confirmation like hey we’ve got your parcel!

Now Monday 9 days on, still nothing. Have found out how to see the trade online but just says waiting, waiting for what? Communication is poor and rather distressing, especially when it’s an iPad Pro…

Have typically used musicmagpie for everything in the past and got same day payment and never left in the dark.

Emailed them on Thursday, no reply! No clue what to even do next.

It’s funny that the review is asking for a trade ref number, no clue! No emails and doesn’t say ref no when I login online!

Unfortunately they steal your items. Literal theft and nothing can be done about it.

You scan your items. One or two may be worth a little more, say £2 rather then 50p for example. You package it and send it.

Zapper then claim that, by pure chance, your £2 item is "missing" when in reality its straight onto their website (you can check this yourself)

Absolutely disgusting tactics and need to be called out on!

I've used Music Magpie and Ziffit in the past but but a good quote for my ipad pro from Zapper and it was a joke.
They pulled my in and I think the name change should have turned me off but I went ahead anyways.
My initial quote then went from £540 to £250 as my ipad didn't meet certain EU criteria. It was bought for me in the USA but I preferred android tablets so I think I'd sell it and buy a Samsung tablet instead.
I'm now awaiting the return of my ipad and hope it comes back all intact.
Future sellers beware, what Zapper quotes you is not what you get. Its a con!!!

The Service is great. And great tool to recycle old books. Helping the environment.

When I start to compile an order with Zapper there does not seem to be a save function. Many a time I have started a list only to find if I use another browser or don't log in it alters the list & the prices. Very frustrating getting an order ready to press continue & books on the list disappear because you don't want them.

Hassle free and straightforward. Better for giving to charity than dumping.
