Installer was very good
Installer was very good, but when it is linked up to computer there is no information as to what it all means. For older people I think it would be an idea to have a manual as to what all the readings mean.

I was adamant I was not getting a…
I was adamant I was not getting a battery but when a Zest agent visited, he quickly covinced me I was wrong and am so glad.

False selling of product
Was sold £6000(approx) GivEnergy battery, was told the energy provider was compatable with the deal & after instilation discovered that they had stopped the deal before it was sold to my elderly parents.
I feel this is totally inappropriate & personally feel that my parent were scammed.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your concerns and understand why this situation would be upsetting.
We want to be clear that we would never knowingly sell a system based on incorrect or outdated information, and we take any suggestion of mis-selling extremely seriously. Energy provider incentives and compatibility can unfortunately change at short notice, sometimes outside of our control, but that does not mean your parents’ system is unsuitable or without long-term benefit.

Added Solar Panels Installation by Zest
The salesperson was pretty clear on most points as far as I recall. Chris and his colleague worked well in difficult weather conditions and worked late in the dark to finish. One negative.The Salesperson maybe did not know or realise that my tiles are a bit fragile. Luckily for the fitters and the contract I had recently bought a number of tiles which are very hard to obtain as no longer made.That could have been a problem!!!!!!!!!! Also I had to bear the cost!!!Archie in the office was very helpful in guiding me in how to set up the arrangement with SSE and Octopus. As I was already with Octopus that part was easy and then I had to contact Puredrive to check that the set up for the Export tariff was correct.

Problem solved
Had a quote from Zest to fit a battery as back up to my solar panels. It was before Christmas and I paid the deposit and after thinking about it changed my mind the next day and phoned and emailed my change of mind to Zest. It was Christmas and it was the New Year before I contacted Zest chasing my refund. Due to holidays etc it was delayed but I would like to thank Archie for being there to listen to me and keep me informed and get my refund processed. It took a few weeks but it was eventually sorted. Thanks Archie for being patient with a grumpy pensioner.
