Worst Hosting, No support

Worst hosting experience ever, they never responded to support tickets. they have a good portfolio website to catch visitors. but after payment, no one will know where I have to go. 3rd day has passed my order is still in a pending state. when I open up a ticket they never respond. really the worst ever. new users, please don't be fooled by the website when they have nothing to respond to or nothing to give you.

Hosting is OK, but support bad - * update

Hosting is OK - some features lacking, and support is terrible.
Right now my whole reseller server has been down for over 12 hours, so all my customer sites are down, and i can't get any reply from support - email or phone or tickets!
Ok, so got the message now about the DDOS attack, and i appreciate that they are trying to rectify it ;-)
Could still do with faster responses to support enquiries and the phone needs to be answerable.

**** and now...still waiting for further replies to my ticket from 2 hours ago?
All i asked for is a backup of my accounts so i can restore the mission-critical ones to a temporary server!
Come on guys - a little support here would be good! :-(

Hi,

We apologise for this inconvenience, we can see the service has been down for around 5 hours.

I can also see the ticket was responded too but has not been updated again since your reply.

As we explained we were updating the hypervisor that your reseller account was on and an update process got stuck.

We have now seen that this was down to a large DDoS attack on our EU infrastructure.

We are working with the DC to get the protection increased and have temporarily turned off that infrastructure to ensure there is no chance of any breach.

I will ask the team to see about reactivating your account on a server not effected by the current situation.

Attention to detail and incredibly helpful

I had an issue with some software that I'd installed and due to an update from a 3rd party software company failing it caused some files to be corrupted/deleted.

Through their incredible support, Mark and the team were able to get a backup of the site restored and I am extremely grateful for all their hard work and attention to detail.

They continue to be the best.

Childish company run by a child!

This company used to be called UKBSS. Recently they changed to Zeus Cloud. I was hoping that this would see a change in management and attitude towards customers. Unfortunately not. I purchased their cPanel reseller start-up package which has unlimited storage, bandwidth, ftp, domains etc. Unfortunately this company is run by a person that looks to be just out of nappies because as soon as I had to raise a ticket to request that I get my unlimited data/quota etc. and chased after 20 minutes due to me not being able to create accounts, i had a 'lovely' response from their CEO - Mark Grindey. It goes a like this:

ME: I need this sorted immediately as i cannot create accounts without a package and i cant create a package because you keep disabling them!!! If you don't sort it right now it will have to cancel and get my money back

MG: Im sorry, a 20 min response is not good enough for you, If you're not happy thats ok. We will refund it.

I'm not sure why you came back if you are not happy. Cant please everyone can you?

You'd find that you changed your root account package and did not set your limits so I'm sorry you are not sure how hosting works.

This is user error and not hosting :)

I was in the middle of responding when the CEO of this horrid company decided to action my request which was appreciated but he went to the extreme of banning my IP address from accessing their portal, i assume in order to prevent me from tearing him a new a*** hole over it. So if you read this Mark, heed my warning - Don't you ever attempt to call me a user and point the blame at my when your systems are not fit for purpose! you a NOT CEO material in my opinion and I feel sorry for those working for you as I can only guess that its a terrible working environment.

This company is not customer focused, they think they are the mutts nuts but in reality they need to grow up!

You have ordered multiple times, complained and then asked for a refund.

The error was on your end and you are the end user are you not?

We support clients that ask for it happily, however when we have had dealings with people before and we know they are just looking to start an argument, We tend to just cancel staright away.

I notice you did not share your abusive cancelation request that you put in before the ticket was answerd :)

We did not ban your IP we closed your account and terminated your services as requested :)

Proof is here that you are rude and abusive. "tearing him a new a*** hole over it. So if you read this Mark, heed my warning - Dont you ever attempt to call me a user and point the blame at my when your systems are not fit for purpose!"

I treat all clients and staff with respect untill they become absuive or threating and as you changed your package and created your own limits thats what caused your issues. However you did not give staff a chance to respond before making threats and becoming abusive.

Please note that your IP was blocked on account close you were correct so I appologise I missed that.

Unfortunitly due past interactions with yourself, I was aware how this would go. Now Im very proud of our comapny and staff and we have a great realationship with our clients as you can see on Trustpilot.

We have 230,000 clients globally and the fact I remembered you from so many, must say something. The issue I have is that on 2 occasions you have orderd and and then cancelled and given staff no time to respond.

Im sorry you dont like the term user but that is what you are and it is an industry standard your are the end user and user of the service. To be fair it does not realy matter what I said as either way the error you had was down to User/human/client error. You changed your package and did not set it correctly.

Had you just opend a ticket and said the issue you were having without imediate threats of cancelation and demanding refunds. I would have been more inclined to help. Average response time is 15-30 mins and you came back with that in 20 minuetes.

Now Im sorry your not happy with that and I appolgise for being sarcy but having dealt with you in the past personly, I knew what to expect.

We do think we are the as you put it the "mutts Nuts" though, This is beacuse we have 8 years in this space and our average client retention is 4 years. So to me that says alot compared to the likes of Godaddy or others. We also have more featuers availble and high availability servers.

We also have some of the best equipment in the industry due to great suppliers and Im yet to find a host that runs on the same spec hardware.

So again im sorry your not happy and yes we cant please everyone thats life. But I do wish you all the best in findinng a new host and all the best in general.

Award winning support and best hosting service ever

The best hosting service you'll ever come across, they have award winning support and the most reliable services and support, there is no need to doubt Zeus Cloud because from the bottom of my heart, I´ve never had issues with the services neither with the support. They treat you with respect and gives you a warm welcome to their lovely services, their dashboard is really user friendly, you're able to find anything you need easy and simple. Trust me, you won't regret being a customer with Zeus Cloud and you will be surprised how amazing their services and support are. As i've been a customer with them for a good while now and i know for sure that i´ll stay here for good. <3

I have had a few support tickets open to query some things and its been near instant responses.

Looking forward to having a lengthy period with this company.

I have been using a Zeus Cloud(formerly UKBSS) Reseller account for a while now, i think they are the best out there, and i have used several hosting/reseller service providers over the last 20 years and i can say that the level of support is outstanding and any problems i had were dealt with really quickly,

Client Update - Lyntree From 2020

Since my original review back in 2020 as a Web Hosting Reseller. I certainly made the right choice picking UKBSS and do not regret it one bit.

Mark, Jess, Luke & Ryan and the rest of the support team they have been amazing to work with. I now am investing further by developing a new Platform onto their VPS's for my business.

If there's any issues, I can drop a message to their support panel, or if it's urgent call their number and I know there's always someone at the end of the phone who can help or guide me in the right direction.

As a sole Full Stack Web Developer, I can't tell you how important is security is and UKBSS have my 100% complete trust knowing that I can deploy websites and applications and they will be safe, addition to this scalability when needing more resources, you can easily grab what you need, instead of deploying a complete new server.

If you can't find the solution you need, speak to them as they are all highly knowledgeable and can always create a solution for you.

Highly recommend for Web Hosting, Resellers, VPS Cloud Management, Cloud Solutions, and their latest addition the Zeus Cloud + Streaming Servers (Much easier to manage than Vulta & Digital Ocean)!

I look forward to working further with UKBSS & Mark and his team for years to come. No one else I would pick.

I have been doing business with Ukbss…

I have been doing business with Ukbss for some time now and their support and service is very good ,
I am very happy with their support but they can't give 24 hours support. They only give support according to UK time. I am hopeful they will give 24 hours support.

I have been with UKBSS for almost a…

I have been with UKBSS for almost a year, Mark was always there to help, he not only troubleshooter the technical issues that occur but he also supported me with applications and features that I wouldn't have been able to do alone. Being with UKBSS is 1000% more valuable than being with Godaddy or these big companies especially if you are starting business. You receive a service that is for you and your company wit support available all the time and no delays.
