Excellent customer service from Mark…
Excellent customer service from Mark Ames who responded quickly to a problem. Temporary insurance was for son-in-law who has sold house and is now living with us for a while. Though not at old address any longer he is still registered there on the electoral roll and so the quote was held up till Mark stepped in. Not able or willing to reduce price though, despite my address being cheaper to insure than son-in-law’s previous abode.

This website and this company are rubbish.
I was looking for a 12 day temporary cover for my visiting relatives, the price was given £225 (quite steep for an absolute clean driver who is 28 and has her licence for more than 7 years), and when I wanted to accept the offer they said that they can't offer me the insurance. In the meantime they keep bombarding me with offers but any time I want to accept any they decline my offer.
What kind of rubbish company is this?

It appears there may have been some confusion regarding our eligibility requirements. Our temporary insurance cover is currently available only to UK residents. This is stated in the FAQ and the declaration that is displayed. We also have a 24/7 chat facility that could have been used to check eligibility criteria.
Regarding the promotional offers you've been receiving, these were automatically generated based on multiple quote attempts. We understand that receiving multiple messages can be overwhelming, and we apologise if this added to your frustration.

End up paying double what they quote me every single time. Price comparison website £30, take me through to zixty to pay and it’s £70. False advertising, I thought that was illegal.

Let's unpack the process a bit so it's clear what happened: The price given on the price comparison site is purely indicative, and based on the majority of drivers. When you click through to buy, we do various checks like driving licence, claims history, credit score etc. and the price can change depending on what we find. As you mention that you end up paying more every time, hopefully that means that we are still more competitive than others for your risk? Our cheapest rates are available through our app and the price won't change on that, as the checks will have been done.

Good cover, cheapest quote.
Was the cheapest quote I found for 12 hours cover. My son needed me to fetch his car from a warranty repair. Some other companies quoted ridiculous prices (possibly because I am 75). Zixty's policy wording seemed very fair and reasonable.

Great company and fantastic customer service.
Website is simple and easy to use, their product was also the cheapest that I found.
I required an administrative change to my policy (my fault and not Zixty) and the customer service that I received was first class.
I would not hesitate to use Zixty again and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
