zyrelis.com - I got scammed!
I saw a video ad in my Facebook feed for a small security camera from zyrelis. com. Here what the ad claims:
*1080P resolution with night vision.
*Improved Super invisible.
*The size of a finger nail.
*Ideal for covert surveillance.
*Magnetic fixation. Easy instalation, no drilling or wiring required.
*View images on your phone from thousands of miles away without internet.
*Long battery life - One charge lasts a year.
*Equiped with 2 way voice communication.
*250 GB storage.
I could go on...but you get the idea.
The product ordering page said they offered 90 day Free Returns or Exchanges, so I decided to buy 2.
When I received them 2 weeks later, they weren't anything like what was advertised! It was a complete bait and switch scam!
The camera was huge, not the size of a fingernail. It measured 2.25 inches in diameter. Plus, It did need to be connected to the internet for remote viewing. But only supported 2.4 Ghz (no 5G)
It wasn't magnetic at all. They included two wall mounting screws for installation. It would only run a few days on a charge.
The storage capacity was only 32 GB max.
I wrote Zyrelis immediately, detailing the discrepancies in what they advertised vs what they sent me and asked for return shipping instructions so I could get a refund. That was 12 days ago!
They have totally ghosted me. I haven't heard back from them!
