We were advised to contact Baxi directly by our regular boiler service engineer as a result of the strange noises that suddenly started coming from our Baxi Platinum gas boiler. From my initial call to the Baxi main office person who answered the phone to the attendance and work of the Baxi engineer, I was impressed by their professionalism. The repair work was carried out very efficiently by Leon who explained what he had found and rectified. This was the first time our boiler had given any problems since installation and emphasises the fact that Baxi boilers are very well made and constructed of high-grade metal parts, unlike Worcester Bosch combination boilers that I have been informed by several heating engineers have a high quantity of plastic parts in their construction and can be a nightmare to service. Plastic parts in a gas boiler? No thanks! Definitely 5+ stars for Baxi. My first view of my review was 4.5. No, I gave them five stars initially!
