This was my first use with PocketMags - I was not impressed

This was my first use with PocketMags, and I wanted the 3D Make and Print Digital download, it was a good price and I duly paid it. The digital copy was added to my library, however I am unable to print it ALL to my printer OR ALL to PDF, and if I try to download the pages, I am restricted to 8, and whilst I get a PDF file, it is 1k and won't print as it says it is corrupted. I emailed they customer support and it has now been 2 days. I will gladly update this review if this problem is resolved and I even reached out to Magazine Direct to see if they can help, as I noticed they also sell the publication.

Prompt delivery and all well packaged

Prompt delivery and all well packaged, after my 2nd normal order, I moved over to Subscription once a month which saved me shipping and money.
Hightly recommended. Brilliant service.

Norton provide great products to…

Norton provide great products to protect your computer and mobile devices. Always had good experiences and also customer support. I find that buying all the different parts (modules) can be costly so it would be good if they can do them as a bundle to save money and keep customers subscribed.

Registered with Curve to use my Astari…

Registered with Curve to use my Astari Ring, once I understood how to link my ring via its app to Curve then to my bank, the process was easy and smooth.
Transactions appear automatically on my account as pending immediately and Curve also offer a physical card if needed. Supports Loyalty cards and instant transaction approval. Highly recommended

DPD lets me down for the 1st Time - AWFUL

5th July 2025
I had a very expensive item out for delivery today worth over £300, I had received notification it would be out for delivery today, but my account was already set for 2 safe places, the 2nd being my next door neighbour and both of them were in as I had spoken to him around 10am. The normal driver weekdays, knows my safe places and also I know the weekday drivers. I have a ring doorbell, and 10:26am, the doorbell rang, and the driver put the massive box in front of my front door, receiving no answer, he took a photo and left, no attempt was made to use the safe place or contact my neighbours. I phoned Customer Service who saw the photo and also my safe places were correctly marked and immediately promised me a full investigation will be raised with the Maidstone Kent Depot. I have also notified the seller to advise them also of this, since if the item had been stolen I would be going back to them for a replacement at £300!
DPD have NEVER let me down this bad before and always been on time and gone above and beyond with delivery and ensuring the parcel is left in a safe place or at neighbours

I was promised an investigation would be carried out which included the driver and depot in question. The initial discussion on Saturday was that as part of this I would be contacted again to see if it was possible for someone to pick up the item and check with my neighbour to take it for safety as both were home, however this never occured.
Today I had a totally seperate item from another retailer delivered and this delivery was fine, I had a chance to speak to the courier who advised me that ages back the drivers delivery route at the end of that day was checked to ensure photos were correct and instructions followed, however to me this looks like this process is no longer carried out. I can totally understand that it probably was not possible to leave in the first safe place due to the size of the item, but my neighbours were both in and had been all day, additionally there had been terrible storms later that day so the item would have been ruined if I had got home later. It would be nice also to see DPD update me here over this issue.

Yodel Delivery from Online Garden Retailer.

Initial Delivery 11th June 2025 - updates to follow
This is a review for Yodel who delivered my consignment from Primrose UK. I had ordered two solar panel foundatin kits which were shipped by Primroise on the Friday 6th June 2025 and were received by Yodel on Saturday the 7th. The consignment had a delivery for Tuesday 10th, but the app just kept advising me to check back later, when I contacted the Yodels customer services team, I was advised the parcel was not yet received and not entered the system.
On Tuesday I contacted Primrose, who investigated further and the parcel was then updated for a delivery date of the 12th June, however it went out for delivery on the 11th. On receiving the item (The outbox looked undamaged) it was revealed that on both solar panels the glass on both was completely smashed (they were well protected in the outer box), I contacted Primrose immediately who overnight created a replacement order free of charge plus allowed me to keep the damaged items, they also checked with their warehouse on all stock on that item and confirmed none were damaeged, they also passed me photos of the solar panels on my replacement shipment which showed them as in perfect condition, this was also shipped via Yodel who were advised to take additional care in handling. it seems the courier choice is auto decided by value and weight. I am currently awaiting delivery for the replacement.
I think it highly unlikely that both solar panels from the first order were shipped broken from the warehouse and its highly possible the box was dropped or received an impact.

13/06/2025 - Whilst I can understand that Yodel have replied that they will try and do better next time, the problem is that these goods (over £70) were damaged and broken, I genuinely cannot believe that the online retailer shipped two broken products, it is more the inconvenience over a delay in delivery and then receiving broken and damaged goods which are not fit for purpose, this needs to be investigated by them to ensure that the parcel was treated carefully and not dropped, and more so that the replacement is given extra care and protection in case it happens again. The reply from them seems a standard automated message plus it has cost the retailer time and money, and myself numberous calls to the retailer including photos of the damage to get this consignment shipped again at no cost to myself plus to get photos from the retailers warehouse to proof the replacements left their warehouse in perfect condition.

Hive is a great system for remote access to my heating and water.

Hive is a great app and system to control central heating and hot water from remote.
This allows me to boost the home temperature if I am out, the temperature drops and I can come home to a warm house, or boost the water remotely. I have never had a problem with the system functionality, application or connectivity, and I can also control the weekly schedule to change the temperature plus when the heating is on of off.

Ordered the 4 seater Substitute bench…

Ordered the 4 seater Substitute bench for a friends football club / team. I had checked Amazon who were charging £10 more, and it turned out they were selling it on Amazon as well as on their web site but £10 cheaper. I registered as a new customer I got a discount code of £12, which offset the delivery charge and still reduced the price a few extra pounds.
The goods were delivered 2 working days earlier by the courier and in perfect condition, these were presented to the coach who was delighted with the item and it will be used on away matches as the team are not promoted to a higher league. All in all this was a great purchase, smooth sale and delivery and very happy with the goods.

Ordered the new ROKR The Seahorse Barque 3D Wooden Puzzle - Its gorgeous!

Ordered the new The Seahorse Barque 3D Wooden Puzzle and its now with me waiting to build. (Still doing all the Marble Runs!)
Kit looks fabulous and videos show the details and it looks stunning. Robotime are very quick to despatch and replace any part if needed (for a small shipping cost) Love their models and kits. Highly recommended.

Added the Norton Driver Ultimate part…

Added the Norton Driver Ultimate part to allow new drivers to be updated on my PC. I love Norton and always used it, however having used McAfee on most my PCs, the subscription price use to be for unlimited PCs, but now is getting too pricey and I had to reduce to 3. I switched back to Norton, but whilst it offers great coverage, each additional protection module can soon increase the annual subscription charges.

Always good service from Robotime

Always good service from Robotime, had to recently orders some replacement bits and costs were very reasonable with postage. This was the new boat, and it arrived very promptly with insurance cover via UK Courier. Always had a great experience with RoboTime and highly recommend anyone ordering their kits, they are brilliant.

Smooth delivery and on time.

Smooth delivery, item was coming from China and passed to Yodel for final part of the journey. Advised on Thursday morning it would be out for delivery Saturday and was promptly delivered on time between the advised times.

Fast delivery to local shop - over Christmas.

Ordered the ASUS ROG Ally charger which has HDMI/USB A and USB-C for the hand held. Was impressed as the email I said it would be ready for collection on the 27th, got an email to advise it was ready on the 26th, so nipped down to collect - very busy due to Boxing Day shoppers, but collected it quickly and efficiently.

Bought the Ninja Creami - Ice Cream and Frozen Yoghurt - Love it.

Ordered this before Christmas, it was delivered on the 27th, excellent service, DPD fast and efficient with delivery. Lookking forward to making great ice cream and frozen yoghurts from my Ninja Creami. I bought the 7 tub pack, which came with a great recipe book and and more available online. It would be great if Ninja made or produced an online "app" for iPhone and Android with all their recipes including ones from the printed book. Very happy customer!
