We’ve been with Verizon for 30+ years

We’ve been with Verizon for 30+ years! And now we’ve been lied to enough!!! Spoke with a representative early August, was told we were eligible for new phones at no cost, (we had to send old phones in) no problem!! LIES LIES apparently! Spent part of the month of August and all of September speaking with various representatives, and receiving various explanations!!! Seems each had their own agenda!! Got frustrated and emailed Excutive services. Thought that maybe someone might actually do their job! WRONG! I gave her dates, times, and names of individuals that I had spoken with! She assured me she would get the answers! LIES!!!! She called me a month later and says that the charges are accurate?? I asked her if she had listened to the call from August 2nd in reference to the phones being free? She replied that she had NOT! I asked her to review the conversation with myself on the phone! She informed me that that wasn’t possible! I asked her if she had listened to the call, she stated that no she had NOT. I asked her to do that, she stated that she could not listen to the call because it was now too late as they only keep the recording for 30 days?? Now Verizon wants to charge me exonerated fees and equipment charges! I try to remain loyal as I’m a small business owner myself. Guess it’s time to move to a new carrier (T-Mobile is eager for my business)

Traeger Grills

The traeger grill itself is a good grill, depending on which one you buy. There are different levels of quality!! If you’re gonna get a traeger pay the extra money and get the better quality grill.
Customer service is probably the worst. The traeger locked up my WiFi router and the only response I got from them was sorry! Then our grill caught fire and again when I confronted customer service, was told “to clean again and see if it happens again”!!!! Reported to BBB, but they can’t force company to do the right thing, only other option for me would be to sue them in civil court, again costing me more money! Grill is good, customer service is the worst!!

Don’t buy a Traeger grill

We have had a couple of Traeger grills. Sold the first one and upgraded to the “wifire” unit that was a Costco exclusive. It has the warming unit underneath the grill. Anyway, after about a year and a half it stopped connecting to the WiFi. I called and spoke a person who assured me it wasn’t the controller but just needed to be updated. After an hour and a half of unplugging and plugging in the grill and my WiFi router, still not working! Day 2: again agent has me unplugging and plugging in my WiFi and grill, no connection. Day 3: same thing, no connection! Took Easter Sunday off. Monday: agent calls and again the unplugging and plugging in continues, no connection!! And now locks up my router!! At the very beginning of this process I told them I thought it was the controller!! Tuesday agent calls and we go through a bunch of processes, GUESS WHAT, the controller is bad!!! Needs to be replaced!! After spending a total of 10 hours on the phone dealing with different agents and getting my router fixed, Traeger FINALLY admits it’s the controller!!! The very thing I said from the beginning!! Won’t EVER buy another Traeger!!!

BudK shipping!!!

Have done business with BudK in the past and have always had good experience. This last order has turned into a disaster!! BudK has now decided to use “smart post” or whatever name it goes by. So, packages now sit idle, and don’t move through the system until it absolutely has too, resulting in delayed delivery! Example: package gets picked up by UPS, gets to a location, (Ames IA) on Dec 22. This is 25 miles from my place of business. It has not moved since then!!! Why, because they (BudK) has 7-10 business days!! It won’t until it absolutely has to, (per their contract with BudK (7-10 days)) resulting in delayed delivery of Christmas presents!!!! BudK doesn’t state the use of “sure post” or whatever it’s called. Resulting in cheap unreliable delivery services!!

Don't know what's gotten into FedEx!!

Don't know what's gotten into FedEx!!! Used to be reliable, not anymore!!! If you get notifications on your phone, you might get half dozen notifications stating something different about the same package and delivery time. Even when it states on vehicle for delivery, they'll take it back to the station to deliver a different day!!! Package can be at delivery station, but they won't take the extra effort to get it for you when you go to the station wanting to pick it up. It's become embarrassing to even say I used to work for FedEx!!!!! They have become worse than the USPS!!!
