Verizon’s unkept promises

When you receive an email after waiting months for their gift card and it says you will have it within 24 hours, don’t believe it. They have promised it for months. Then after getting that email, they tell you sometime in December you will have it. Don’t trust Verizon for anything.

Verizon Fios Gave Me Hope! Thanks Grace!

So I had a great conversation with Grace at the New Jersey office. What a nice lady. She made me hopeful that the gift card promised just might get to me sooner or later. She told me to hang in there. She also explained to me that the $200 gift card I received was the correct one. It wasn’t what the salesman told me, but it was on the contract. I’ll come back when I get the next one for an update. She also told me i could apply the gift card to my bill and it wouldn’t affect my auto pay discount. I’ll keep you posted, but because of Grace I have a couple of more stars.

Verizon Fios False Promises - Grade is F

One star only because zero stars isn’t a choice. Nothing has changed. Verizon Fios hasn’t followed up. The gift card they sent was a Verizon card and can’t be used anywhere else. It’s not what they promised. The last $100 gift card they have promised many times (all different). The latest is 60-90 days to wait. I’m not holding my breath. On my app it doesn’t show, so I must wait and see. I can tell you this…I’m not impressed. Get this…they even called asking me about a special offer. I told them not a chance.

Verizon- Worst Customer Service Ever

So you have a “on hold” on my account, but say you don’t. You send me a Verizon gift card instead of a regular gift card as you promised. You can’t fix the on hold status that is holding up the actual offers. What’s wrong with Verizon? Is there nobody that cares about the customer?

Verizon promises but they don’t deliver

I signed up in April and have gone through hours and hours (not exaggerating) on the phone and chatting with Verizon. I continue to get promises, but they do not deliver. My account states offers on hold because of insufficient funds, but since day one I pay direct from my checking account. Verizon claims there is no hold. They keep assuring me that my two gift cards will come. Verizon, this isn’t something nobody else has a problem with. The have misrepresented their sign up process. They haven’t shipped my gift cards and frankly, I don’t think they care. If you sign up and expect the promotion to arrive. Forget about it. I wish I never signed up.
