5 Star Service
I had a radiator that wouldn’t heat up, so I put the job on Checkatrade. 0800 HomeFix called me very quickly to book the job in and arrange a time they could come and take a look.
Half an hour before the engineer, Sean, arrived he gave me a call to say he was on his way.
When Sean arrived he was very courteous and found out what the problem was within 15 minutes of looking at it. He quickly got a quote together for the repair and another job I asked him about doing. He managed to get the parts and finish the job on the same day within a couple of hours.
I couldn’t have asked for a better service, thanks so much!

Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers. Extortionate prices. Do not do what they advertise -- Leak detection visit comprised of only eyeballing where the leak was -- not using any specialist equipment / thorough search. Their engineers are dodgy, offering a non existent discount, breaking and not repairing the radiator at the property -- only caring about their wallet and not the customer. Do not go with this company otherwise you're at risk of being scammed .

Dear Akshay, We’re sorry to hear your dissatisfaction. However, we must clarify that the service provided was completed in line with the agreed scope. Our engineer attended to investigate reported damp, traced it to a corroded pipe beneath the screed, accessed the area, carried out a full repair, tested the system, and ensured it was left working correctly. The leak was successfully resolved during this visit.
Trace and access is limited to identifying and fixing the evidenced source of a leak at the time. No further indicators of additional leaks were present, and specialist equipment is only used where required based on site conditions.
We do not accept that the work was incomplete or misrepresented, but we remain available at support@0800homefix.com should you wish to arrange any further investigation.

Thank you so much Lee. Lee arrived on time, he was very friendly and professional, found the source of the leak, fixed it, cleared up after himself, explained everything very clearly, was very good with my young son and dog. I couldn’t ask any more. The admin team behind the scenes were really good as well. Very impressed.

Homefix were easy to use… would use again
Homefix were easy to use. They booked my appointment promptly. Darren the Gas Engineer arrived a few hours later. Diagnosed the issue and gave me all the information I needed to decide on next steps. Darren arrived the next day to complete the job. He was prompt and installed the new carbon monoxide detergent really quickly. Really great service from Homefix and Darren. I would definitely use Homefix and Darren again.

Professionals with experience
We had another plumber 777Plumber who looked into changing our tap but the space under the sink was a small challenge but they just gave up without even trying. Called 0800HomeFix and booked same day appointment. James and his apprentice Danny arrived. They accepted the same was limited but not a challenge and they got to it straight away and changed the 4 way tap in less than an hour. The space was limited but they worked around it and did the job in record time. Really appreciate them taking extra effort and not charging me more. 777 wanted 4 times what they quoted to change the tap and asked £350+VAT and Homefix got it done in £120+VAT.
Really happy and recommend James to those around Reading area.

Great service
Great service, from the moment my call was picked up. Luke arrived on time, diagnosed the problem with our blocked toilet quickly and stayed to fix it, everything was done within 2 hours. Very good communication of extra costs, friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.
