I am a terrible singer. I'm only on beginner lesson 9 so far. My notes are:

tl;dr - pretty good lessons, early tech issues drag it down a bit, worth a try

- The lessons are very gentle, which is great for someone like me.
- The instructor keeps saying I'm doing great, but obviously he can't hear me. Since this is such an internal physical skill I am often wondering if I'm doing it right.
- So far the lessons seem to assume, or don't care if, your pitch is ok. He just says "sing this" and "good job". Some acknowledgement of whether it's important at that point or not would be helpful.
- In the last lesson I did I was expected to sing a new song along with the instructor. The lyrics were only shown for part of the song. Dunno about most but I can't memorize lyrics after hearing them only once.
- I don't see any simple way to jump straight to my most recent lesson. Maybe I missed it but it's a bit annoying to navigate there every time.

Overall I'm really enjoying the lessons and I think I'm getting better but there's not really a way for me to know without 3rd-party feedback. The technical issues are a bit of a drag but I don't think these are anything that can't be corrected with some thoughtful design. I recommend giving it a try. If they can iron out the issues then it will be pretty great.

Update: Now on beginner lesson 16 and am feeling huge improvement. The lessons about finding tone were very helpful!

Great price-value. Explanations are ideal for beginners but also good for more intermediate singers. I highly recommend this program to anyone who would like to improve their singing while having fun!

The teachers are also the nicest people on earth!

So I’ve been using 30daysinger since November and it’s changed my life. With the detailed videos, it’s impossible to not get better. I’ve personally found Abram to be one of a kind, along with his courses, I enjoy taking one on one lessons with him as well. I recommend 30 Day Singer to all my friends and family wanted to better their voice. Also, thank you for finding Abram and sharing him with us, absolutely wonderful!

I have been taking private lessons from Abram St Amand Poliakoff through 30 Day Singer for over a year now. I'm probably quite a bit older than most students, and I couldn't sing at all when I started. I mean not at all! I play guitar and was determined to try to learn to sing. Fast forward and I can now play and sing about 20 songs. I learned how to analyze a song, and I can identify and hit the notes. Abram is super patient, very positive, and fun to work with. I'm learning so much! I never thought I could sing as well as I do now. Way above my expectations. I HIGHLY recommend Abram and 30 Day Singer.

The website tutorials cover a wide range of topics and exercises that gave me a sense of were I was at vocally. The tutorials are well produced and easy to follow. I chose to take private lessons from one of the instructors, Abram. He taught me the mechanics of singing and specifically how to use my jaw, get strength through breathing, and increase my range and dynamics. He is very well educated in the subject of music and vocal performance. I've been taking lessons from him on a monthly basis for a year now and I am very pleased with my progress and the understanding I now have about the subtitles of singing with good technique. I would recommend the website for warm ups and exercise then take it to the next level with private lessons.

I have never made a review before, but I was so displeased I made an expectation.

To start off, I didn’t really enjoy the courses to begin with, and when I woke up this morning found I had been charged $129.I don’t even know why they got the idea charging me for the year was appropriate to begin with. Even if I had liked it, I wouldn’t have agreed to pay the year in full, I would’ve preferred to pay each month.

I attempted to email support but I got one back from google saying that either didn’t exist or could not receive emails. Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll be getting my money back.

Just be aware before you buy it that the videos are something you could find for free on YouTube, and it won’t charge $129 overnight.

Rip off, beware! Absolutely occluded pricing, costs may change right before final check out to 30 times higher amounts.
Some content seems to be hosted on YouTube, so no chance of watching or listening uninterrupted (while commuting or outside), also you are giving away your data to a company that cannot be trusted and get nothing in return. Other content, luckily, can be downloaded.

Unfortunately, support is not too helpful either, you don't get clear information about pricing beforehand.

All in all I can only recommend staying away from this kind of service!

Excellent selection of teachers. I can tell the designs are well-designed.

I really like the foundational pace. The most helpful thing for me so far is the concept of placement. I heard that before and know the difference between throaty (I just think opera/choir) versus nasal, but practical application was something that never really clicked for me. So there was an exercise that walks you through going back and forth from a nasal to a throaty sound which was cool, but the lightbulb went off when the instructor said you let go of your nose when the buzz stops because THAT'S the best placement for you on THAT note based on your body to have the best balance between warmth and brightness in your tone. It was such an epiphany. I love the balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. So glad I discovered this gem!

I like all of the different lessons and the explanations of the body's anatomy and how it relates to singing. I am only on day 22, but I can tell it is giving me more confidence in singing. I like that they return back to the original song "Shake it Up" and I wish they would do more of that with different songs to practice what we learned in more "real life" situations. I do wish the lessons were longer for each day ie 15-30 mins long. I find I need to go through 3-4 lessons to feel like I"m working my voice each day. Maybe in later lessons they will be more in debt.

The classes are very clear and easy to follow. I am not a native English speaker, I know the teachers speak slowly and in easy to understand language but perhaps it would be helpful if they could add subtitles, ideally in several languages but at least in English.

I love the way this course is structured, I have gone thru some classes with a local coach, but they did not seem to have a program in place regarding what comes 1st, 2nd and 3rd, this is a great start so you can later go for a local singing classes.

Never have taken lessons in singing. Thought it was just something that you were born with. After the very 1st lesson I knew. There are fundamentals that, like any musical instrument, need to be practiced. I was completely reborn, the difference was amazing. I had so much tension in my face/jaw that I wondered how I ever sang at all. It is all worth it now. I could even tell I was so much better I even noticed it immediately.

so far so good. it it very clear, instructors are professionals and teach very well and clearly. exercise are excellent. I am very happy

This is a great program! It is great for people who are just starting to sing and experienced!

So far I like the program. However, my goal is to learn how to sing karaoke which I 've never done before. I do not see how I will accomplish this with this program. If there is a method embedded in the program please let me know.

Well structured lessons with useful tips and organic progression. It’s very refreshing to have a singing tutorial ‘bible’ on the go. I have stopped singing for years and this program really helped me get back to it.
