Loving my time studying with the AMC. As I’m nearing the end of my courses I’m starting to feel like I don’t want it to end! I’ve got my creative spark back and feel thoroughly prepared to stepping out there as a Master Celebrant.

I have found this course so informative. Everyone has been helpful with the guidance from my mentor. The feedback I have taken on board. Somehow this feels right now and I am determined to make this work. I have met many groups in my local area and it has opened up new insights to getting this right for my bereaved relatives and friends.

When I first started my AMC funeral journey, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to complete it, especially with the pressures of home and work. But as I became more engaged with the weekly calls and the AMC Student Hub, I began to gain a wealth of valuable insights. By actively listening to discussions and asking questions, my understanding deepened and my confidence grew. Before long, I found myself truly enjoying the experience, and now I’m eager to get out there and make a positive impact on people’s understanding and experiences. When it came to working with my mentor, she was so supportive and encouraging.

I wondered what sort of course this would be, but can honestly say I have not been disappointed. It has been excellent from start to finish. It challenges you to think outside of the box and gives you the skills and confidence to really believe you can do this. My mentor, Christine, gave such excellent feedback throughout my mentorship, that by the time I came to do my live ceremony, I felt confident and well prepared to give a really good performance. As I come towards the end of the Funeral course, I can honestly say I am looking forward to my future as a funeral celebrant.

When I started this journey I really was not sure if I would be able to do it. The Academy of Modern Celebrancy was so supportive through the learnings , intro to a community which was so embracing and helpful. The forum were so instrumental to facing fears , and building confidence. Its definitely been a journey , and you need to commit and keep at it, however I have loved my growth and embracing my evolution.

Everything I am qualified to do is connected with property – Interior Designer, Mortgage Broker and latterly, Estate Agent. In actual fact, as I have become older (and quite possibly wiser!), I realise it’s not property but people that I am drawn to. All my life I have wanted to please people; I love interacting and pride myself in the fact that I am no longer phased by who people are – we are all human! I feel as though I have found my niche. This is who Sue really is, an empathetic people pleaser who will go the extra mile to make something happen. Thank you AMC for believing in me!

I absolutely loved the Naming Ceremony course with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy!

It covers everything you need to know to confidently step into the joy of creating and delivering naming ceremonies.

The training is clear, practical, and so easy to follow, and the mentorship is encouraging, and genuinely invested in your growth.

One of the best parts was writing my own ceremony. It really brought everything together and taught me so much about the structure and how to implement my own creativity. I finished the course feeling inspired, well-prepared, and excited to start offering naming ceremonies of my own. Highly recommend!

I started my training with AMC two years ago, right as I was moving countries — so I had a lot on my plate. The training became the foundation I couldn't have done without, and the support I received made all the difference.

Four years into my journey as a celebrant in NW Montana, I can truly credit The Academy of Modern Celebrancy with setting me onto a right path with both confidence in ceremony creation and in the marketing/business aspect of offering this service to my community. This course was very useful for me, specifically the mentor phase. It was more thorough and in depth than I thought it would be and it gave me the flexibility to work around my full-time job and other social commitments. Be prepared for strong critiques and feedback, and don't step into this as lightly as I did!

Every step of the way someone is there watching over you and guiding you forward, willing you to succeed. Feedback is always constructive and aimed at helping you be the best.

Completing the Funeral Celebrant Course with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy has been an incredibly positive and empowering journey. The online course was well structured, engaging, and easy to follow — full of practical guidance and real examples that helped build my confidence step by step.

I have really enjoyed the course, I have had excellent support throughout from both mentors and other students.
I did struggle with the technical side but had lots of support and have learned so much through this experience.

I have just completed my training with AMC as a Funeral Celebrant.
I found that the course was really well structured, taking you through step-by-step the key areas of becoming a funeral celebrant, working with families, understanding why a funeral is needed, the types of ceremonies you may decide to conduct in the future, how to write scripts - insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes and in-front-of-an-audience.
I would recommend to anyone with drive and passion for something different and worthwhile.

I've recently completed my the Naming Celebrant course. This was the third course I have completed with AMC and means that I have now achieved my Master Celebrant Certification.

The training, support and community that i have built by choosing the AMC as my training provider, are a a major factor in my success.

From the content and materials to the mentoring, support and guidance, the training I have received was such high quality, that I feel I am totally set up for success.

I enrolled in the Wedding celebrancy course back in February and passed my final assessment a few days ago.
I have had a wonderful learning experience and really enjoyed the whole process.
It was easy to understand, to use the tech involved and the thourough information that was given.
The support for the course in the Facebook groups, the zoom calls and the mentorship is non stop, in a good way!
Not at any point did I feel like I couldn't ask something, communication is quick and detailed and it's one of the very few courses that I felt completely supported in my learning journey and beyond.
I am now excited to put my skills to the test and make memories with future couples and their special day.

The company does a lot of things right including amazing support, great documentation and interesting and thought provoking coursework.
