Held Hostage by Afriex: 34 Days Without My Money or Answers
My experience with your customer support was extremely disappointing. A KES 200,000 transaction went missing for 34 days, and throughout that period, not a single proactive update was provided. Every follow-up had to be initiated by me, and each response felt like a template with no real investigation or accountability behind it.
The lack of transparency, empathy, and urgency from your customer care team was unacceptable. No financial service should hold client funds for over a month without clear communication or resolution. This entire episode has shown that your customer support systems are broken and detached from the realities of people depending on your service.

Early notification
If transfer of funds to Ghana is not possible we should be notified on the app clearly before loading our funds and having the funds locked in to a long refund process. This causes unnecessary strain on us as customers because the funds are normally for emergency purposes abroad
