I made a booking for hire car for pick…
I made a booking for hire car for pick up at Coolangatta Airport, our estimated flight arrival time was 10:20pm, so I made the pick up time at 10:30pm. Unfortunately our flight was slightly delayed and we disembarked a few minutes later than expected. When we arrived at the service desk, there was no attendant there, it was closed, despite accepting my booking for 10:30pm, we arrived 10:35pm because the flight was delayed. We were left stranded without any notice. We had to catch an uber to the hotel which was fairly expensive. When I called in the next morning to discuss this issue, they couldn't even confirm if my booking was still valid as it had passed the pick up time (well that's because no one was there to hand the vehicle over as they closed at 10:30pm) the agents (overseas) said there was still no answer at the service desk, this is now during their advertised trading hours, I tried to make contact (through the agents) over three hours, and no one on the service desk answered to confirm. Europecar service is clearly not up to standard, why take a booking if you can't honour it knowing that the service desk would be closed. Utterly disappointed and won't use this again.

The Europcar location at Gold Coast Airport generally closes at 10:30pm. Where an incoming flight number is provided with the booking, this allows the rental location to monitor the flight and make arrangements for a delayed arrival where applicable.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to identify your booking from the information included in your review. Could you please provide your booking reference beginning with IM? Once received, our team can review the booking details, including the flight information provided, and raise your concerns with Europcar for further review.

I genuinely appreciated Auckland Bargain airport rental car service. They deserve 5 stars. Consequently, I have rented a car 2wks ago, it was a beautiful little hybrid, and I can't express how amazing the customer service I got on arrival, picking up from the airport early morning, dropped off to pick up my vehicle, and even when I dropped off the vehicle. The staff who served me were so helpful and supportive. I am sorry I have lost a piece of paper with the names of the lovely staff who helped me during my trip. However, I will definitely rent a car again with Airport Bargain Rental. Thank you, Auckland Airport Bargain Rental.
