Dr. Evana Scheker shows that she cares for her patients and is determined to get to the bottom to fix the health issues that I have going on. She is giving me hope that I can live a normal life.

I came to Allara expecting personalized, compassionate women's healthcare that was advertised - a place where I would feel heard, understood, and supported. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite, and it has left me feeling disappointed and increasingly concerned about the quality of care I have received.
One of the biggest issues has been the messaging platform. It feels disorganized and fragmented, with multiple people responding to my messages without taking the time to read the conversation history. As a result, I received responses that didn't address my actual questions or concerns. Even more frustrating, these conversations are then closed before I have the opportunity to clarify or respond.
Communication problems have extended beyond messaging. My second appointment with the doctor was rescheduled without my knowledge or consent. That was particularly unsettling given the policy warning patients about no-show fees.
There have also been instances where I felt my preferences were not respected. I clearly told the doctor that I did not want to take a specific medication. Despite that conversation, the prescription was still sent to my pharmacy and was ready for pickup. I wanted to understand why this had happened, but I was unable to get an explanation from the doctor. Instead, I received responses from other people telling me that the medication was available, and then the message thread was closed.
Allara presents itself as specializing in women's healthcare and perimenopause. Because of that, I expected a high level of expertise. During my visit the doctor was uncertain about the difference between an estrogen patch and an estrogen gel.
None of these concerns, taken individually, would necessarily define my experience. Together, however, they paint a troubling picture of inconsistent communication, lack of continuity in care, and insufficient attention to patient concerns.

So happy I found Allara Health! After just one meeting I left so hopeful for the future and my health. For once felt seen and understood. So excited for this next healthy chapter

I was really disappointed with my experience. I scheduled this appointment because I was looking for a provider who would actually take the time to discuss my symptoms, medical history, and offer a more holistic perspective. Instead, my appointment lasted about 10 minutes and I left feeling like I got nothing of value.

I explained that I already had bloodwork scheduled, yet the main recommendation was to order more labs and encourage me to schedule with a nutritionist. It honestly felt like I was being pushed into booking another appointment instead of receiving meaningful guidance during the one I had already paid for.

To make matters worse, Allara accepted my insurance information when I booked the appointment, but after the visit I was informed that my specific plan wasn't covered and sent a $125 bill. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have agreed to the appointment.

After disputing the charge, they eventually reduced it to $50. I appreciated that they were willing to work with me, but I still don't feel the visit justified even that amount.

If you're considering Allara, verify your insurance coverage yourself before your appointment, and make sure you understand exactly what you're paying for.

This is healthcare. My provider did not rush me, listened to everything I had to say and every concern, and more importantly gave me hope. She was compassionate and very intelligent. This is the best healthcare experience I ever had!

I’ve had two visits so far and for the first time I feel like I am being heard and my experiences have meaning. In a world where so many don’t understand per menopause and menopause, and everything it brings it’s a breath of fresh air to work with someone who listens and has real solutions to give you the quality of life that you deserve! I’m so happy I made the switch to Allara. Their app is easy to navigate. I love the after visit notes and the goals section. It really helps to keep me on track. My nutritionist, Allison, is so understanding and genuinely kind. She gives me realistic goals and tips to stay consistent. So far the lifestyle changes I’ve made with Allison’s help has improved my PMOS/PCOS symptoms.

The best part of this visit was the provider. She listened to me! She was affirming, empathetic, and knowledgeable.
I have had medical “care” since I was very young, and this provider practices with CARE and proficiency.

I have also tried other telemedicine companies, and the ease of scheduling, billing, and attending the appointment through the app was so easy!

The only thing to be aware of is that most providers do not carry a DEA license, so they’re not able to prescribe testosterone, which an essential part of peri and postmenopausal care.

They also really push for you to meet with a dietitian, so be prepared for a harder “sell” on that, both from the app and the medical provider.

In all it was a wonderful experience. Eleven out of ten.

I met with Maria a nutritionist with Allara. After having my first meeting I felt heard and recharged about my weight loss journey. She answered so many of my questions without me even asking.

She asked so many questions to get to know me and my daily life, so she can make the best recommendations to fit my lifestyle.

The most important to me is I did not feel judged.

I also met with a physician and he took the time to go over my medical history and explain how PCOS has affected my body. It has been along time since I have felt heard.

I have already recommended Allara to many of my friends and family.

Dr. Bobba was amazing. She was warm, welcoming, and immediately put me at ease. From the moment we started talking, I felt like I was in the right place. I have been a patient with Allara for over 2 years. They manage my Hashimoto’s, as well as my HRT as I am in surgical menopause. I could not get any local doctors to listen to me, but they ran the labs that helped find why I felt the way I did. I’m currently doing a 12 week program with my dietitian and am learning so much!

They don't have transparency on payments .please be mindful of your insurance coverage before u start seeing Allara .I am so disappointed and canceled my appointments after received $213 .only for the initial 30 min consultation.

Another thing I didn't like about Allara is I thought I was going to see DO (Osteopathic) to do all the bloodwork and review the results ,He told me I should book appointment with one of their dietian.I already have RD access through my employer .But I was told by Allara DO that it is bundled.
