Joan is very kind and knowledgeable, especially when presented with the challenges of all of my medical conditions and food intolerances. Her natural positivity inspires a feeling of trust between herself and me as a patient. She answers all of my questions - both big and small, and I genuinely enjoy our appointments- even though they pertain to an area of health that has been notoriously difficult for me to discuss.

I am having a bad experiece with Allara. I had my appoint it went well order a bunch of labwork with Labcorp. I have insurance and the issue happen with Labcorp now getting billed 800 dlls for labs. When I called Labcorp and my insurance was told to contact the Provider and update the diagnosis. Well I have message Allara multiple times to contact Labcorp and arrange at least the diagnosis codes so Labcop can submit a corrected claim. All responses seem AI generated. No live representatives to help. Now it seems like I am stuck with a bill becuase they don't want to help call Labcorp.

Hard to even call this a “medical”
Platform. I was chasing my doctor for a month to complete the necessary paperwork for my insurance company to cover a prescription. The “chat” is the only form of communication so while I couldn’t call my doctor it took 3 days to get a one message reply from a different person each message. In that time I scheduled 3 appointments with the doctor trying to rectify the issue. This is a MONEY grab and it is completely unethical. And I still don’t have my prescription, lol. Find a local doctor instead!!

I’ve been working with Annie Roberts, FNP on the start of my journey- she’s informed, comes prepared and provides the recourses and support I need. She’ll help with recommendations and find other providers. Additionally, the app, tech, notifications and reminders are superior - this does not feel like another rushed virtual visit.

Allara is a great program for weight management experience and offers a great variety of opportunities to consult professionals in different fields and after regular hours, excellent for busy people

Allara was very seamless to navigate. I had my first appointment with my provider and I felt heard. My provider was very thorough and listened to each of my concerns! I 10/10 recommend!

The app has been very user friendly. My appointment started exactly on time. The provider took time to listen to all my concerns. I feel hopeful that I will have answers and a game plan in the next weeks. The labs are easy to schedule and the provider already set up a follow up appt. She also got me scheduled with a dietician. They seem to take a root cause, all over wellness approach and I am very appreciative of that. As a nurse myself I’m excited to share this app with others as it seems like a much needed new take on healthcare!

I've been seeing Dr. Gouri for over a year now. My overall health continues to improve. It took me a while to get here and it will take a while to see certain results but with Dr. Gouri I feel like I am heard and that we are working together to continue to improve my health. The convenience of seeing her on Zoom is so very convenient, I can't even tell you. Definitely would recommend.

I think what’s great about Allara is you have many options of excellent care providers and professionals. If for some reason you don’t align with one, you can switch to another one who you do align with. So far, it’s been great for me!

Lacey Lauer has been helping my daughter navigate cycle issues & concerning bloodwork. She is easy to talk with, patient and thorough. We are glad to have established this contact before my daughter goes off to college. Being able to schedule appts while at college will be extremely helpful. With our varying schedules it has been a blessing to make appointments at the end of the day.

I was using Nourish for a long time for dietician support and then switched to Allara when I saw hormonal health was also supported. Allara's big marketing pull is that they are covered by insurance, which is not entirely the case. I ended up paying over $150 per session with the hormonal health doctor and $60 a session with my dietician through this service. I also found Allara's psychiatry partner, Talkiatry, to not be run very well and those doctors will prescribe pretty insane medication after one 45-minute intro session. Proceed with caution as many of this online doctor sites are just fast-cash for these individuals. Long story short, I never paid out of pocket with Nourish and Allara is very expensive in comparison.
