Totally inflexible when I asked to change my flight (and transfer) for an urgent family matter. Impersonal customer service that doesn’t care about local and loyal customers living in the Alps!

They set the arrival time and charged again
They set the arrival time, which is when we landed! obviously we were after that. THEY THEN CHARGED US TO CHANGE THE PICKUP, JOKE.

They changed my bus to an earlier time…
They changed my bus to an earlier time by almost two hours. I could not make that. I held on the phone for over 21 minutes twice and they then hung up. I sent several emails. They claim I was a no show. I sent copies of my emails to their feedback email as instructed and have received no reply. This is a terrible company and I’d avoid it like the plague. I booked through Bla Bla website and be aware they dont take any responsibility for the service. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Never again.
I was on the 10am to Lyon, they cancelled that and put me on the 11.20...which turned up 20 mins late
..the driver stopped for 20mins and missed my flight
They really could care less ....
Find an alternative
Not on time for a private transfer ordered in advanced for more than 500 Euro. Really poor customer service
The worst travel company
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience in January warrants one.
I booked an airport transfer with AlpyBus expecting a reliable service to ensure timely arrival for a scheduled flight. The service was significantly delayed, and I was required to wait roadside in sub-zero temperatures for an extended period.
While weather conditions were cited as the cause, my concern is not simply that there was snow in January in an alpine region. It is how the situation was handled.
Communication during the delay was inconsistent and, at times, misleading. The timing updates did not reflect the reality of the situation, which meant I could not make informed decisions about alternative arrangements. Ultimately, arrival at the airport coincided with my flight’s scheduled departure time, resulting in a missed flight.
This led to additional expenses running into the hundreds of pounds, including rebooking travel and onward transport.
What has been most disappointing, however, has been the response afterwards. Rather than engaging constructively or offering any goodwill gesture, the company has relied entirely on a weather exclusion clause and refused any refund of the original fare. Customer service interactions have felt dismissive and unhelpful, and attempts to escalate the matter have not led to meaningful resolution.
Delays can happen. Snow in winter is not unexpected. The real test of a company is how it manages disruption and how it treats customers when things go wrong.
Based on my experience, I would avoid if your journey is time-critical.
Geneva To Morzine
Lets start with the facts - This is a very econimical way to get to the ski resorts from Geneva.
The Desk in Geneva is at the far end of the arrivals. Its a little chaotic with many people trying to get to the desk to check in. so if you travelling on your own and with skis then its a case of putting down and then get to the desk - then its a little confusing whats happening when they call out peoples name and what destination. Once you are called then you are taken to the coach. drop the kit off and find a seat and relex. The coach was very nice and clean - and the journey very pleastent as we climbed up to the ski resorts.
Drop off was fine - central location of Morzine.
Returning the bus turned up within 15 mins of the departure time, traffic was heavy coming out of Les Gets.
Overall I really loved this transport and will be using it again. great value and comfort - so perfect.
DO NOT BOOK
DO NOT BOOK. Total nightmare experience. As a group of two young families (including two children that have just turned one), we specifically reserved three child seats for our transfer, but the company mentioned to us the day before travel when we called to enquire about something else, that the vehicle now was a coach and car seats are not legally mandated. When we asked for an alternative mode of transport with child seats they had no options available. As parents, we weren't willing to risk our children's lives driving up a mountain without proper child safe seats, so we had to find a new provider at the last minute. We were advised to send an email to management to get a refund and they have point blank refused to budge, even though they failed to provide the service we booked. Now, they are keeping our money! If you care about your kids' safety, do not book with AlpyBus!
Left to arrange own return transfer after cancellation
Booked a return transfer via Transferfix, operated by Alpy Transfers. The outbound leg was completed, but the return transfer from Les Houches to Geneva Airport was cancelled by the company despite being confirmed.
They offered an “alternative” pickup from Chamonix Sud, which is a different town and not equivalent to the booked service. When this was declined, they cancelled the booking and stated they would only refund the original ticket price (€71.80), despite shared transfers being fully booked and a private transfer being the only remaining option.
Customer service repeatedly refused to accept responsibility, relied on the fact the booking was via a third-party platform, and declined to reimburse the additional cost caused by their cancellation.
If you are booking a time-critical return from a mountain resort, be aware that a confirmed booking does not guarantee the service will be honoured, and you may be left arranging and paying for alternatives yourself.
Missed flight, stranded in -3°C, zero accountability
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants a detailed warning to others.
On 10 January 2026, I used AlpyBus for a transfer to Geneva Airport. What followed was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had.
From around 05:15 in the morning, I was required to be available roadside for pickup. After the first automated delay message, I had already secured my property and placed my keys in a lockbox, leaving me with no access to shelter. I was then left standing outside in -3°C temperatures for over 90 minutes.
During this time:
Automated texts gave inaccurate and misleading wait times
Messages were ignored
Phone calls involved extended hold times, all while standing outside in freezing conditions
There was no meaningful or proactive communication
Had AlpyBus provided accurate information from the outset, I could have stayed indoors, worn appropriate clothing, or made alternative arrangements. Instead, their poor communication directly caused prolonged exposure to sub-zero temperatures.
I am immunosuppressed and was already unwell at the time. Following this journey, I required over a week of antibiotics. This was not a minor inconvenience — it had a real physical impact.
The bus eventually arrived around 07:00. We reached Geneva Airport at approximately 10:00 — the exact time my flight departed. As a direct result, I:
Missed my flight
Spent over 5.5 hours waiting for the next one
Incurred significant additional costs for replacement flights, food, and rearranged onward travel in the UK
Lost an entire weekend and suffered disruption into my working week
AlpyBus has since refused even a refund of the transfer fare, instead blaming the weather and offering an “insurance letter” while denying any responsibility for communication failures or duty of care.
It’s also worth noting that the outbound journey earlier in the trip departed nearly an hour late, suggesting this was not an isolated incident.
I understand that weather happens in alpine regions — that’s precisely why clear communication, realistic updates, and passenger welfare matter so much. AlpyBus failed on all counts.
If you are travelling for a time-critical flight, or if reliability and communication matter to you at all, I would strongly advise choosing another provider.
Scammers
Paid £55 for three passengers from Chamonix to Geneva 6/01/26. We were sat inside the Italian restaurant on the corner of Chamonix Suds from 6pm and ended up being there into 8.50.
Not a single Alpy bus went past in this time and we had booked the 7.30 bus to Geneva.
Scammers. Do not use this service.
We went with the Flix bus at 8.50.
Confirmed booking changed last minute
Confirmed pickup for 0800 was changed at last minute by Alpy to 0445 with less than 24 hrs notice. No apology. Reached compromise of 0645 eventually but v inconvenient. Do not use this company.
Good experience
Had a good experience with alpybus. Punctual and friendly service
If you're expecting any kind of…
If you're expecting any kind of customer service do not use this company. They are chaotic, unreliable and there is absolutely no flexibility their end when booking but you're expected to incredibly flexible with change in drivers, change of vehicle, change of departure and pick up time which changes multiple times throughout the holiday. The staff on the other end of the customer service emails are rude and unhelpful and, as I said, very inflexible given that you're paying for a service.

DON'T USE ALPY buses
we booked online for 4 people to go from Geneva airport to Chamonix. No one showed up at the designated meeting spot, couldn't find the bus , called them and emailed them......no one in the office on Saturdays. We had to buy new tickets with another company to get Chamonix. I did get an email response the following Monday saying the "Post Sales team would look into it" . After 3 weeks, 2 emails from me and a phone call that went to" the next available operator will assist you", (after 7 minutes I gave up) I'm still waiting to hear from them about a refund. Fat chance
Save your money and don't use them.

Very rude driver
Very rude driver. Went to shake their hand to say thank you upon arrival. The driver took one look at my hand and scoffed at.me saying "the best way to say thank you is a tip" and walked off without shaking my hand.

Shambolic, late, uncomfortable
Their timetable indicated departure from Geneva airport at 1pm, arriving at Bourg St Maurice train station at 3.30pm. I booked the last onward bus up to our resort from Bourg St Maurice train station at 4.30pm, giving an hour buffer. Firstly at Geneva airport their organisation was like being involved in an episode of the Apprentice. Shambolic youngsters chaotically trying to coordinate passengers and get them to the right bus. We eventually left around 40 mins late making my 1 hour buffer look dodgy. Our driver was hopeless, either the clutch was going on the bus or he had no clutch control, in either case it was so jerky and we were crawling/juddering in a lot of traffic. His front windscreen was also completely steamed up most of the time. Can’t comment on his route other than to say it was different to the route I use when I drive and it was very slow. Eventually we arrived in Bourg St Maurice half an hour after my onward bus had left, causing me to spend another 80 euros on a taxi. I will never book with Alpybus again, their timetable is pure fantasy made worse by their hopeless organisation and late departures from Geneva airport.
Terrible company
Terrible company - bombard you with emails when you haven't confirmed a booking make it so confusing you end up paying and then refuse to refund for a journey you can't take, dishonest horrible company
