Refreshing to Deal With - People to Trust
Having recently had a seriously bad experience with another dealerAnchor Cars have been a breath of fresh air.
Aston was helpful from the start, providing all that I needed when I asked and taking my or returning them as appropriate. I was exiting from bad deal with a complete clown show elsewhere in order to buy from Anchor so it took a bit of close work and collaboration. It is hard to buy a good second hand car - I haven’t done it for decades and I have little experience. After the last two months I’m now much wiser and I certainly have trust in Anchor Cars through my dealing with Aston.
To cap it all the delivery executive Grant was an absolute gentleman. Again helpful and patient.
If I ever need another car - I’d certainly be looking at Anchor again.

Slow to respond
Poor service, enquired 2 days ago, told twice someone would get back to me and then when I followed up the third time because I hadn't heard anything, I was told it was already purchased. Not sure how best to show interest in a vehicle if noone responds to an enquiry?

Horrible Experience with Anchor EV
Extremely disappointing experience. I had reserved a car just the day before, only to find out they sold it to someone else. The customer service was terrible (I spoke to Steve) — they took no responsibility and instead blamed me. Clearly not a trustworthy dealership. The numerous negative reviews speak for themselves—I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Just to clarify, you viewed the vehicle on Monday and we explained on Tuesday that a deposit would be required to take it off sale. You had the option to place a deposit at that stage, but understandably chose to take more time to consider. The vehicle was then sold on Wednesday to another customer who was ready to proceed.
We do understand how disappointing that must have been, but as a busy dealership, we keep vehicles available until a deposit is received—this is something we are always transparent about. We’re genuinely sorry this particular vehicle didn’t work out for you, and if you'd like help sourcing something similar, we’d be more than happy to assist.
That said, describing the situation as a "horrible experience" does feel disproportionate. Our team acted professionally and fairly throughout, and we hope you'll understand that availability can change quickly when no commitment has been made.

Great Experience, Great Selection of Cars, missed out on the car I wanted as I was too slow thinking about it, they then found me an identical car which I purchases straight away. Really good bunch of people.
