The destination store is set in a historical, labyrinthine building in the heart of the market town of Saffron Walden with its own stunning Food Hall, showcasing artisan produce from all over the globe. A beautiful piece of furniture delivered carefully and promptly.
I bought an ornamented cupboard from Angela Reed. It arrived promptly - exactly when promised, was delivered by two highly capable men, who carted it upstairs, placed it exactly where I wanted it and left within a very few minutes. When I commented on their efficiency, one of them said, “well, we’re professionals”, to which I responded, “I can see that”.
The cupboard is beautiful, sturdy, spacious, and exactly what I hoped for. It is perfect for my needs.

Important to see and try out first
The dining chairs I bought were made to order and, although the website, said there’d be a 12 week wait, it was 18 weeks before they were delivered. When I raised a concern at 14 weeks, I was offered the loan of four chairs which arrived a couple of days later. The quality of the chairs is fine but I should have ensured I’d tried and tested a sample first. The colour was not quite as expected, more grey than appeared on the website. Also, the fit is better suited to tall adults as the seats are a little higher than most dining chairs I have tried. The substitute chairs were actually more comfortable and a better fit. So, a lesson learned - appearance can be deceptive!

We’re pleased to hear you were happy with the overall quality of the chairs, though we’re sorry they weren’t quite the right fit for you in terms of comfort and colour.
As noted at the time of ordering, these chairs are made to order with an estimated 12-week lead time. Unfortunately, this particular order was delayed due to wider global shipping disruption, which was outside of our control, but we remained in regular contact throughout with updates.
When you got in touch during the delay, we were very happy to arrange a set of loan chairs so you weren’t without, and we’re glad these arrived quickly and were useful in the meantime.
In terms of colour, the ‘Rancho Steel’ finish is designed as a grey-toned fabric, and we always recommend viewing items in person or requesting additional images or samples prior to ordering, particularly for made-to-order pieces where finishes can appear differently depending on lighting and setting. We are always happy to accommodate this.
We really appreciate your patience while your order was delayed, and your feedback.

Tetrad sofas
Had been trying to find a local company where I could purchase a Tetrad sofa from. Rang Angela Reed said they would be able to get me the model I was after, extremely helpful, I also bought a rug from them too, which is superb quality, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We're delighted with our new sofas and rug.
