A £50 deposit is required to request an initial consultation appointment, at which point you have to fill in a basic registration form/ health questionnaire. As part of the questionnaire they ask for your BMI. What they don’t tell you anywhere on the website or during the registration process, is that they will only accept clients with a BMI of below 35. Had we known this before, we not would have bothered with ARGC, wasted our time and suffered the embarrassment and frank discrimination at being turned away. When informed that their policies are upsetting and should be made clearer at the point of booking, no apology for the distress caused was offered. The only saving grace is that they will refund our deposit, though naturally this will take 10-14 days. Shocking really. Unclear and hurtful policies, unsympathetic staff. If that was the first experience, I’m glad we didn’t go any further with treatment at this clinic.

Poor experience with receptionist has put me off using this clinic, patronizing, really unhelpful and provided little information. Really poor and had high expectations.

This clinic is a cut above all others. The staff care about clinical excellence. They are completely patient centred and individualised care. Mr T is legendary and as great as everyone says he is. The nurses and doctors are professional and kind but it’s not a tea and sympathy place! I felt very much like a dignified human being here because of that.

IF it was possible I put zero star, unfortunately everything is abused of feeling a woman to get pregnant. The worst . We have frezed embryo and when today my wife went over to start the process they told her that me as husband must do blood test again. Come on guys how in earth this make sense. We previously had a round of ivf there, my wife show allergy and her long filled with water they did not spot that and my wife hospitalised for a week, she lost the baby, the staff and one doctor was rude and unsopportive. I am very sorry for my self that my wife wants do do another round of ivf in this institute. But I am not going to accept the blood test this time at any cost , I don't accept unlogical request. Why in the earth I must take the blood test while you have freezed embryo.

It has been a few years since my experience there but I still feel so angry about the boot-camp, money-shouldn’t-be-an-object style of care that I received.

There were many times when I was made to feel guilty for needing to work during my 5 months of treatment, made to feel difficult for asking legitimate questions about experimental treatments and berated for suggesting a 4 day holiday where I wouldn’t be able to come in on demand.

There is no compassion or understanding shown from the receptionists to the doctors. You are on a conveyor belt where you don’t really get an option/explanation of what is done to your body and you’re simply handing over cash constantly. They will not give you an estimation of costs, even though they could provide an average for treatment and drugs per month looking at their data. It’s insanely expensive.

I add a star purely because at the end of this pretty horrific experience I had my daughter.
I still wouldn’t go through this with ARGC again.
