I came across this opportunity to scatter my late husband’s ashes in space, quite by accident, and I’m so glad that I did.

Everything in the process was thoroughly thought through and delivered with patience, compassion, kindness and professionalism. I extended my heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of the team for making this available for our loved ones. It is extraordinary and it brings such solace to those of us privileged enough to remain on our beautiful planet.

I arranged a gathering of close friends and family to watch the memorial video and they found it to be both fascinating and moving. Without exception all those gathered thought that it was something my late husband would have absolutely wanted to do, had he have known about it. It has also brought a huge amount of comfort to his close friends and family to know that he is freely circumnavigating our planet, taking in beautiful views from a sunny position and is with everyone wherever they are.

Elle is an incredible ambassador for Aura flights and has gone above and beyond to ensure that everything took place within an incredibly short time frame. She listened to small details which made a significant difference and was patient, kind and professional. I cannot thank the team enough for helping me in this part of my journey.

From start to finish I cannot praise these people enough.
Samantha was friendly and patient answering all my questions before I made the decision to go ahead.
From then on I dealt with Elle who deserves a medal for putting up with my endless emails & phone calls. She kept me informed & up to date on every step of the process.
I live in Northern Ireland and Dr Chris Rose came to my house to collect Pete's ashes - he was an absolute gentleman and very respectful of the fact he now had my Husband's ashes.
I had requested the ashes were launched as near to his birthday as possible and again they did not disappoint - it was within 3 days (I can't hold them responsible for the weather!!)
Tom, a member of the Creative Team, did an absolutely unbelievable job on the Memorial Video. He had to put up with me constantly telling Elle what I wanted changed. The two of them were exceptional.
All in all I cannot recommend them enough - I just wish there were more than 5 stars on the rating as they deserve so much more.
Thank you to everyone involved, you made what could have been a difficult & emotional process much, much easier for me.

Aura Flights made a vague wish reality by providing a way to get the ashes released in space. A great service was provided by the team and included the hassle-free collection of the ashes, being kept fully up to date around when the flight would take place and a professional flight video and memorial page. I would recommend Aura Flights to anyone who wants to provide this type of final journey in a serious, non-gimmicky way.

They were so caring and dignified they kept us informed on what was happening they were there to answer your questions and it was nice to know that Elle was there to make you feel part of the journey it was so comforting and serene thank you so much would highly recommend this as your final journey for your loved one until we meet again Dave love jan x

From the time of first contact with Samantha and Elle the help and understanding was perfect. Keep informed all the way. What happens and the collection of Kevin's ashes by a very lovely and respectful man called Paul.
On requesting a launch date as near the Super Moon (Harvest Moon) on the 29th September, they came up trumps with the launch date 26th September, so Kevin was up in space at the time.
The first draft of the video was very emotional with beautiful music which was chosen by the term. Then a few days later Elle informed me the creative term able to use the music which I requested after all (Harvest Moon by Neil Young) which made it even more special.
Every detail for perfect and I would recommend Aura Flights to all family and friends.

Having found the cutting Mum had kept from 2017, we are comforted to know that we fulfilled her final wish. The video we received of Mum’s flight on the day after birthday is very special.

Great customer service, kept me informed all the way through. The only let down was Royal Mail as they didn't deliver the parcel on time, it was 3 days late.

My husband Franks flight was June 1st this year and we were so impressed with the service.. impeccable customer care and such respect.. treated like family and felt like it too. I can never thank Elle and the team behind Aura enough for helping us say goodbye to my husband in such a beautiful way. He died in the Middle East and was cremated and shipped back to us, all very traumatic we never had chance to say goodbye. I just felt sending his ashes up and allowing them to fall freely would help us all. I sent the music and photos with special meanings and they produced the most beautiful poignant film for us to keep forever.

If anyone is in any doubt whether to use Ashes in space, let me assuage those doubts right now. Apart from being the most magnificent setting for my Mum's final adventure, the care, thoughtfulness and attention to detail the Ashes in space team give you is almost as amazing as the video they produce at the end. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble and their tone is perfect, caring without being too sentimental. And when you see the final video, I defy anyone to ever want any other send off. Thank you Ashes in space, knowing how perfect this send off was for my Mum has really helped with my grieving process, and the stars look just that little bit brighter knowing she's up there. The loss of a son and brother was hard but the decision we made to use Aura Flights was because Simon loved travelling and this seemed a fitting end to his life.
