Thank you to Aura Flights for such a offering such an unique and special service for spreading my loved ones ashes. I found the whole experience totally amazing and breathtaking. The pictures and video of the flight are just stunning. Samantha was helpful and kept me updated the whole time. For something so sensitive and emotional, it was such a positive experience. Would totally recommend.

The whole experience was breathtaking !! We’d never heard of this before, but felt it was the most fitting lasting act we could do for our beautiful, brave daughter. The ascent was peaceful, on a beautiful clear day in Portsmouth. Samantha kept me informed step by step every day, the team worked tirelessly in giving us our very special day . We saw amazing clear views over Portsmouth, the spinnaker tower, Portsea, etc, it was Jo’s last look over the place she loved most. The on board camera recorded crystal clear footage right up to the release of her Ashes . We chose the Memorial Launch, as it’s more personal and we chose Portsmouth for her launch. Aura Flights , what a truly beautiful way to say Goodbye . Thank you so much, this day will be remembered and talked about for decades. I’m sure more people will say Goodbye to their loved ones and use Aura Flights, When it’s my time to leave this world , that’s how I’d like to leave it.

Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I chose this amazing send off for my beautiful son and Samantha was very helpful and sorted everything out, kept us informed along the way. The day was beautiful, the scenery was stunning and Samantha talked us through everything. The finished result was absolutely beautiful. Definitely highly recommend if your thinking about it. When reading my wife Avis’ wish list following her untimely death, she had requested her ashes be scattered in space, which I thought was going to be a challenge. Fortunately, Aura Flights came to the rescue, who provided a truly first class and professional service.
Following a couple of cancelled launch dates due to poor stratosphere conditions, my wife’s final journey, captured by the two onboard cameras on the capsule was unbelievable. Using a link provided by Aura, family and friends who could not attend the actual launch, were able to watch the event live. Astonishingly, Aura provided still images taken from the moment of release of Avis’s breath-taking final journey later the same day. The following day, Aura sent an unlisted YouTube Link video link of the Avis’ journey and her memorial page I could share with family and friends. I can’t thank the staff at Aura enough for giving Avis a wonderful last journey, which is echoed by all the family.

I would just like to thank Aura Flights for the amazing send off for my father. Samantha was so very helpful with dealing with all of my queries and put my mind at rest sorting everything out, with no fuss and much compassion. Chris on the launch day was incredibly enthusiastic and talked us through the process and the journey that my father would be taking. A really positive experience and it was lovely to deal with a team that obviously care a lot about what they do. Highly recommended.

What can I say... my grandfather Brian was always very clear that he didn't want a traditional funeral, he wanted to leave his body to science but unfortunately that couldn't happen because of the pandemic, so we had to find something else to do. This came up through a Google search and it was absolutely perfect. The Aura Flights team kept me posted months before the actual launch, with Samantha collecting Brian's ashes personally the day before, so I had none of the usual stresses of planning a funeral. The actual flight was breathtaking and Aura offer so many keepsakes, which are great for family and friends who couldn't attend, or simply for yourself to be able to look back on. It's a comfort for all the family to be able to look up at the sky and think of Brian up there, on an adventure that most people will never have. Everyone I have shared this with thinks it's an absolutely incredible idea, they have all been stunned that it's even possible, but I would definitely recommend. We will always be grateful to the whole Aura team for giving us this experience.

Highly recommend this company. We wanted something as unique and special for my sons ashes just as he was. Communication was fantastic with updates every step of the way. The launch video was so emotional and beautiful. Family and friends have all said what a lovely thing to do at such a sad time. The photo is breathtaking! Fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend Aura Flights. They were helpful, informative and compassionate. Samantha was always quick to deal with any correspondence. Sending your loved ones ashes into space may sound strange to some people and I did get a few odd looks to start with. For us it was the solution to a problem we just couldn't solve. The footage is truly amazing and a great comfort to us. We were also able to share the footage with many friends and former work colleagues and the feedback from them was very positive, they were truly amazed by it.

What a lovely service. Really prompt to reply. Wonderful photos. It was very emotional to see the video but in a positive way. So pleased I chose them.

Excellent compassionate service. Beautiful footage

The whole team were incredible. Sam really looked after us and our many questions leading up to the launch and the launch team on the day were fantastic. They did such a good job keeping us informed of what to expect and how it all worked.

It's hard to describe the emotional release after months spent finding the right thing to do with our son's ashes to finally see the balloon taking him up to space to be released on a journey around the world. The whole Aura team went above and beyond for us and we can't say thank you enough.
