terrible service last time
terrible service last time. Book a car, they came back saying its not available, then when I visit their website they show the same car advertised again.

Do not pay for your car in advance
We booked a car through Auto Europe for our trip to Ireland and paid in advance. Our dates changed and we returned the car 3 days before it was due back. Our car was through Sixt in Dublin airport. When I mentioned this to them they referred me back to Auto Europe. I emailed them and was advised via email that I could claim a refund for the unused days but when I phoned the company I was told I could not get a refund and to read the contract again. My advice to anyone booking is NOTto pay in advance for a rental as you won’t get your money back. AUTO Europe has now agreed to investigate our concern and hopefully we will be refunded however, please ensure you read your contract

Our prepaid confirmation vouchers state within the terms and conditions that no refund is due for unused rental days once the vehicle has been collected and a rental agreement has been opened for the confirmed period the rental has been booked.
That said, we absolutely understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. In certain cases, we can liaise with the supplier to assess possible flexibility. If you're happy to share your booking number, we'd be glad to follow this up with our Customer Service Team for you.
