Cancelled my order when I paid for express delivery on the day it was supposed to arrive and then didn't even reply to my emails. Very poor, would avoid

My order showed as delivered but obviously wasn't got in touch Axel and they responded quickly and politely with resolutions straight away, my order was delivered to a completely wrong address even though the address on the label was totally correct, luckily the people that received my order dropped it off for me.
The books I received are beautiful well made and my grandbabies are going to love them.

Bit sceptical about ordering as haven’t heard of Axel Books before. But I did order 2 sets of book. 1 set turned up wrong. I emailed the support team late and the following day I got an email to apologies and they will send the correct set out. The day after I receive the correct set before midday.
Yes the original order turned up wrong but these things happen. Couldn’t ask for any better service. Will definitely be purchasing more books.

Having placed 2 orders over the past month, I can only say what a wonderful experience it as been, ordering was very easy choice was really good delivery was very quick and the package was all in one piece well packed no damage, and what value. Thank you Axel books.

Paid express delivery and got tracking for Royal Mail tried tracking and has said for 3 days tracking status unavailable with tracking code try again tomorrow!! Why have I paid £6 express delivery for it to still not be here and to have no tracking also tried to email axel books and haven’t heard back from them. I needed these books asap thats why I paid for express delivery but the books aren’t here still!!!

I have recently bought Famous Five & Secret Seven series books from Axel Books for one of my granchildren who meets the age for which the books were designed for. They arrived safely and undamaged and I'm hoping she will like them. They were reasonably priced & arrived quickly. I would certainly use Axel Books again when I feel my grandchildren need them.

Placed my first (and definitely not last) order with them, and while the delivery gods tried to test my patience (through no fault of the seller!), the customer service team swooped in like storybook heroes. They were quick, kind, and made sure the books arrived just in time for my boy’s birthday.

The books themselves? Absolutely gorgeous! Sturdy hardcovers, beautiful illustrations, and genuinely fun. What started as a potential delivery disaster turned into discovering my new favourite online bookstore. Bravo team! You’ve officially earned a loyal customer

Very much a legit company! Sceptically ordered a collection (John Boyne’s elements series) Friday AM and it arrived the next day - in perfect condition too! AND much cheaper than anywhere else.

The books are cheep replicas printed in China. Initially they look same as original, but actually they don't have binding glue on spines and it is explicitely said on the back - "Printed in China". I consider this is rude deception and have to be reported also for breaking authors rights!

Great value and excellent customer service. I ordered a series of 8 books which stated delivered which was not received and contacted them and they resent the books out straight away and then a new neighbour delivered the original books 2 days later in which they sent be a barcode to return the second lot of books which were not required. Excellent service and communication would buy for m here again as great value for money.
