The ordering process was easy and the boots arrived really fast, packaged beautifully. This is my second pair of Bareback boots and I love them, they are super comfy, and look great.

Beautifully made boots. Perfect stitching and design. Customer service is second to non. The first pair I ordered didn't fit, so I phoned customer service. This is a human!! A human that knew their products inside out and they recommended the best option for me. Delivered the next day!! Fit like they were made for me.

Easy to buy, boots were as they said. Wore these boots on a riding safari holiday in Botswana where the weather was hot one day, and then riding/swimming in water another day. Boots took the rough treatment so well. They were comfortable to wear, dried easily and looked as good as new afterwards. Was able to wear them daily.

Easy order process. Great quality. The leather is firm, I expected to have to wear them in but immediately comfortable. Narrower fit than previous boots (Ariat) which is better for walking & riding. Like the dark brown colour.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. The quality of leather and workmanship is superb and their customer service is second to none. You call a landline and a real human being gives you their seemingly unlimited time and attention to go through options and to understand your needs as a customer. I have very slim feet and not all styles suit me. They will advise, let you try, allow to exchange for refund or credit - there is no limit to how helpful they are. I have bought five pairs of boots from them over the last few years - for different occasions, from yard work to wearing in a city when I travel abroad. Brilliant company

The 1st pair of boots I ordered were mid high slip ins, no zip( I loved them)but unfortunately my high instep prevented me from getting my foot into the boot, so I had to return them and ask for a refund.. In the meantime I saw another pair that appealed to me, these were the mid high Hudson's with a side zip.. I phone the company and spoke to CS who guided me to the correct size and fit for me..So I ordered myself a pair of Hudson's... The price was deducted from my refund and the excess paid back to me..I have to say I am absolutely loving these boots.. The leather's soft and supple and I know that after a few wears will mould to my feet.. I'm a girly girl and have lots of Seasalt dresses that I'll like to wear my boots with..Another thing I like about this particular pair is that they have such lovely, swishy tassels affixed to the zips, a lovely touch I think... I bought these boots for dog walking. I go out across the fields and it gets pretty muddy, the fact that they're waterproof is such a huge bonus..I've already worn them a couple of times and to be honest, I don't want to take them off when I get home..🥰.. I think I'll be buying more boots from Bareback..Ordering was simple, the quality is superb and CS are amongst the best I've dealt with..

The shoes I ordered were too big, so telephoned to arrange a replacement pair. This was done very easily and I was reassured by the person I spoke to, that the width of the shoe would not alter by going down a size. As I was about to go on holiday, they are keeping my new order and will send to me, once I am home.
I am a returning customer.

I bought the new Barco deck shoes. Quite comfortable on first wear but quickly began to rub and the half sole began to peel away making the shoe very uncomfortable. Bareback’s solution was to wear socks and buy insoles. They say the half sole is standard, even though it is poorly constructed and peels up. They still rub through the socks and I don’t want to have to spend more money just to make the shoe comfortable. Nice shoes but need a bit more work and a bit more after sales support.

Excellent boots and exceptional customer service!

I’ve been wearing Bronx boots from Bareback Footwear since 2011, so I think it’s fair to say I’ve put them properly through their paces over the years. They’ve been incredibly durable, comfortable and dependable, and I’ve now had three pairs in that time.

My latest order also gave me a very good reminder of why customer service matters so much.

The first pair I ordered were slightly too small, so I contacted Bareback and spoke to Phoebe. She arranged for them to be collected and sent out a replacement in the next size up with no fuss whatsoever.

Unfortunately, when the replacement arrived, the size was perfect but the pull tab on the back of one of the boots was broken. I spoke to Phoebe again and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She personally went to the warehouse, picked out and checked another pair for me, arranged collection of the faulty pair and had the new ones sent over.

The latest pair have now arrived, they fit perfectly and look great.

Problems can happen with any order, but what really stands out is how a company deals with them. On both occasions Bareback dealt with everything quickly, professionally and without making it feel like a hassle. Phoebe in particular was fantastic throughout — friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure everything was sorted properly.

After wearing Bronx boots since 2011, I’m very happy to be continuing with another pair. Great boots, backed up by genuinely excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Nice shoe style, but poor quality of shoe for the price

Brilliant customer service, easy ordering and returns policy. Very helpful with queries over sizing and care of shoes. Good quality product for a very acceptable price. Will definitely buy from this company again and encourage others to do so too.

Bareback footwear went above and beyond when repairing my Dakota Boots. A small section of stitching had rubbed and started to split… the company sent them back to the factory and returned them to my home. Great job. Excellent service although it took a while, but let’s be honest - not much use for long waterproof boots at the moment

I've bought several pairs of boots and shoes from this company and highly rate them. Just bought my second pair of Kentucky's - the old ones are 4+ years old and have been worn day in, day out. Comfortable from day 1, extremely hard wearing, and a lovely friendly company to deal with too.

My friend recommended these boots and she was absolutely correct, they are so comfortable right away. I wear them all day outside in all weathers, I have now bought another pair! Great service, swift delivery thank you.

The company are efficient, and have brilliant ideas about making fantastic sturdy boots that look good and are comfortable. I was so impressed with my first pair that I bought another pair in a different colour.

I had never tried the boots before and have now settled on Kentucky boots. I ordered a couple of sizes and different styles and finally phoned and got the additional help that I needed. The insole which can come out, makes the difference. Dealt with patiently, boots were sent back easily with a tracker postage and refunded promptly. Will definitely use again.

I bought these boots for a walking holiday around the Pembrokeshire coast. I have only taken them off to sleep! The most comfortable boots I have ever had...certainly worth the money. Also, I was walking through rocky terrain, and my ankles felt really supported. Also had to step through rock pools...definitely waterproof. Thankyou 😄

Brought a pair of Andulucia Boots 14th November 2025, did not wear until December. Cleaned, looked after and stored in the boot bags, only used to ride in. The leather is cracking. Have sent pictures, but as the boots are 1 week out of warranty nothing can be done apparently. I would expect a £200 pair of boots to last longer than 5 months use. I was offered 10% off another pair, but I am not going to waste anymore money on this brand. Looking at past reviews this is not an isolated case. I have sent another email and awaiting a response. Shame because actually they are very comfortable boots just not fit for purpose.

Purchased a pair of Bronx jodhpur style boots. When they arrived they were very hard and stiff so I knew they would need careful wearing in. 6 weeks on they are still uncomfortable and stiff and rub my heels every time I wear them. I’ve been through 4 boxes of blister plasters at £5 a pack, just purchased heel guards but they made it worse. I did contact customer service she agreed that the boots were I’ll fitting. They are loose on the heel whilst fit on the from. They suggested changing socks which over the last 6 weeks I have done every time I’ve tried them. Thicker socks make them tight at the front yet they still rub the heel. I have very normal feet, no buneons or skinny heels yet I cannot get these boots to wear in. 6 weeks in Im giving up on them. Very uncomfortable boots.
