Ordered a Yeti Roadie 60 . The Yeti was a good price but turned up incomplete ( missing the lid lock ) . When I contacted Customer services for BBQ world they were very dismissive and told me that it was my responsibility to claim back the missing part from Yeti , even though the item was brand new from them . I will never order anything from this company again , even though the price is good !!!

I read a few of the reviews here complaining about the delivery only being to kerb-side, BBQs being delivered on a pallet and customer service not being great. I was a bit wary of placing an order but BBQWorld was £300 cheaper for the Everdure Force than anywhere else so I took the risk.
I know that many people have complained about the kerb-side delivery but they make it VERY clear during ordering/check-out what the delivery process is so not being aware/happy seems a bit unjustified.
My BBQ arrived less than 24-hours after ordering. The delivery driver was super-helpful and friendly . The BBQ is great.
No reason not to be 100% happy.
Terrible customer service
Called about sending the BBQ back, was told delivery would be at my cost and there would be a 30% discount for restocking. Absolutely zero desire to treat me fairly

If only i'd read the reviews before ordering as it appears this company has a huge customer service problem. I had a BBQ delivered with the incorrect hardware pack. They did not respond to emails so ended up phoning them where i was told oh yes this has happened a lot! Maybe they should be checking their products if this "happens a lot" long story short took over 2 weeks to get a new one sent i was left with a BBQ i couldn't build in pieces in my living room and they are not even apologetic and have no customer service skills - please order elsewhere.
Please shop elsewhere - be warned.
Although fairly pleasant to deal with, they have sold me a built in BBQ that is of extremely poor quality. It arrived bent and buckled. Replacement parts for some areas were provided. Now need more replacement parts. Have been told that a refund is not an option - so I now have a £600-£700 metal box. Please do not use for BBQ purchases as you will be sorely disappointed.
Fantastic Customer Experience
I purchased a new BBQ from, ‘BBQ World’ and found the product delivered in good time and in perfect condition. I did need some customer support following my purchase and they were excellent, really helpful and solved my problem without any fuss and I have nothing but positive praise for this company. I would certainly use them again.
Shocking Customer Service and questionable 'new' products
WARNING Do not buy a Kamado Joe or any ceramic BBQ from here!
My new Kamado Joe BBQ arrived broken/cracked but also showing signs it had been either on display or returned, as the packaging had been removed and shoved down the side.
When I phoned the customer support they said i need to take it up with Kamado Joe as a warranty claim as "that is how we opperate, it is standard in the BBQ Industry".
When I said i want it returning, they said "No as they don't have anymore".
Utter disregard for any Consumer Rights, not a company I ever want to deal with again

Sold me a freestanding bbq only to then be told it is not freestanding and is a trolley bbq, only other option would need to buy brackets to hang from a counter top. Not a trustworthy company, don’t buy from bbq world
Efficient company great delivery
Great description of goods, website easy to navigate. Ordered Wednesday am and delivered Thursday pm. Phone call from delivery driver 1 hour before drop off, put the pallet inside gates. Couldn't be more pleased

Knocked off one star as the website payment experience is a little clunky.
Good grill, bad delivery
While the grill is great (with one corner scuffed but I can live with that), the delivery was atrocious. They employ a pallet delivery company who left the grill on the street. My wife was the only one home and asked if they could put it at least inside the gate and the delivery person refused saying that would be liability for him. Obviously she wasn't about to move in a 75KG box so had to unbox all the pieces on the road and bring them in. These guys ought to employ a better delivery handler.
BEWARE- read those T&C’s
BEWARE: This company delivers to curb side only! Read your Terms & Conditions …. Because by agreeing to pay you agree to a one man delivery on a pallet not to your front door but to the pavement outside your house. I have never in the 20 years of receiving deliveries received a delivery like this.
Never mind the lack of communication once I had ordered the items. Dawson’s / BBQ World say exactly what they want you to hear but aren’t actually bothered with their customer at all.
I spent £1000 and on calling them up asking them how I was to move the unit from curb side to my house, they told me I had signed the T&C’s and therefore had agreed and there was nothing else to be done. And then put the phone down on me.
Do not buy from this company. I wish I had gone to John Lewis instead!
Fine but be aware of business practices/service
This a 3 star rating for doing what is says on the tin, BBQ's at best prices on the internet, wesbite is a little clunky but works. It is a 2 star for service, particularly in light of the circumstances where you have opportunity to show off how good your service can be (I run a services business).
Background. I bought a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker 47cm, which was left in the apartment block entrance as per my instructions (usually fine). From where it was stolen (these things happen once in a blue moon).
Why 2 star:
- using DPD to deliver, who admitted they were concerned that the driver had lied in his notes on the delivery. I was not contacted to say the item was delivered. Also they need to ring the door bell to get in (they didn't). They also have a bad reputation in London.
- the fact that it was a high value item, BBQWorld's one response to me, was effectively tough it's your own fault (for saying that they could leave it in the entrance). Which is correct, however I would never say that to a cystomer. They couldn't care less that DPD lied on their notes. Had I been contacted I would have made sure the item wasn't in the lobby for long.
- No response to my follow ups, well apart from a customer review request.
- finally and this is what gets you 4/5 stars in my opinion for service. If the item was stolen, you would console the customer (barely happened and felt hollow) and if possible give a discount voucher/code to replace. This makes sure they buy the replacement from you = good businesss sense & good service. Neither of these things happened. Easy opportunity lost to build brand loyalty and provide good customer service.
In conclusion, I did buy again, but much more aware now. I hope this review will help others.
Great service and fast delivery
We bought a new BBQ from BBQ world which is part of Dawsons Dept Store,( the emails from Dawsons threw us a bit to start with), but the communication was great, the price we paid was the best on the market and delivery ultra fast (couple of days and it arrived on our drive)- we then ordered a few accessories for the BBQ and again same thing- great communication and swift delivery. so far we can't fault them and would definitely use again.
Next day delivery as promised
Made an order for a Weber BBQ and a bunch of accessories around 1pm on a Thursday. Everything was delivered, well packaged and on a pallet as advertised the very next day. First experience has been excellent.

I ordered a Broil King BBQ for my husbands birthday.
The customer service team were excellent at tracking it for me when the delivery company hadn't updated their time slot and called me back promptly with an update.
The delivery driver was also friendly and helpful, even unpacking it from the crate for me so I could get it through the gate, which wasn't part of the service.
The BBQ was delivered in immaculate condition and looks really lovely now assembled.
I highly recommend this company!
Great aftersales service
Ordered a Weber bbq. The ordering was easy on the Internet and a good price. Delivery was quick. The only downside was one of the support legs was damaged when opening the box. A quick email with photos and serial number to the support team rectified this matter quickly. Overall a good experience with them.
