I focused on understanding the concepts…
I focused on understanding the concepts through the lectures first, rather than trying to memorize answers. Once I had a solid conceptual foundation, I practiced a large number of questions and used each one to reinforce what I had learned. That approach made a huge difference.
I believe Becker does an excellent job of simplifying complex topics. The course is designed to help students pass, provided they follow the study plan consistently, put in the time, and practice enough questions. The material builds confidence and prepares you well for the exam.
On a personal level, my biggest motivation has been my family. As the father of three autistic toddlers, I know that my children will always depend on me. I want to be in a position where they never have to go without something because I wasn't able to provide for them. Becoming a CPA is more than earning a professional designation—it is one of the most important goals of my life because it gives me the opportunity to build a better future for my family.
I dedicated every spare moment I could to studying, practicing questions, and staying disciplined. In the end, I truly believe that while hard work and Becker's excellent course prepared me, God blessed me with the ability to pass.
Finally, I want to thank Becker for creating such an effective CPA review program. Most importantly, I want to thank my wife, who made countless sacrifices by taking care of our three children while I studied. Without her unwavering support, I could not have achieved this milestone.

The Becker CPA Review program was phenomenal and helpful!
The Becker CPA Review program was exceptional. As a 50 year old relearning accounting to prepare for the CPA exam, I found the videos, flashcards, MCQs and TBSs all exceptionally well done and helpful. I passed the FAR exam on my first try and am pressing ahead with Audit!

Becker gets you there!
Great structuring of the video sections, they're very informing and instructive. I like the way Becker goes way harder on you then the exam will ever will. I scored 77% at best in my FAR exam simulations and today I got my score, I passed with 84%. The MCQ and TBS are spot on, the more you do of those the better you'll do in the exam. I dislike a little bit the wording used as it may be kind of misleading (on purpose, duh) but it helps you in the long run.

It really does help, especially Newt.
Using Becker for a CPA review course really does help but you have to figure out how to use it so that it works for you. There's a variety of options available for studying with Becker, you can go light, moderate or heavy. And now that they've added Newt, it really helps you understand the question. Newt can break it down for you in ways you'll understand and for worded questions if you need to see it with numbers, Newt will do that too.
