Balloons
The yellow balloons don't work with Canadian Geese. I've found that nothing works.

Sorry to hear that the balloon did not work on the geese. Canada Geese can be a challenge to get rid of, especially if they have become "Resident" birds, living on your property all year long. The best product that we have found is the liquid goose repellent, Migrate: https://www.birdbgone.com/products/bird-repellents/goose-repellent-products/avian-migrate-goose-repellent.html
The Migrate flavors the lawn with a grape extract that bothers the mucus membranes of the geese eating the lawn. The products takes about a week to become effective and needs to be applied at least once a month. Check it out.

I previously purchased bird b gone for our sailboat mast. I've tried just about everything to keep the birds off mast top. Bird b gone is only product that works

I am sorry that the Solar Bird Chase Super Sonic did not work out for you. The sonic units are sometimes best used with some sort of other bird deterrent, depending on what type of bird you have and what they are doing. It is not recommended for nesting birds. Bird B Gone Gone
I have purchased two Bird B Gones this year. The first unit broke fairly quickly at the plastic collar on the spindle. I thought that I have left the unit on the boat at high wind speeds (35 mph). I then purchase another unit. After I installed the unit, it lasted one day (wind speeds were moderate). This unit also broke at the red collar. The gray bearing only extends through half of the collar allowing flex in the red collar. The red plastic is insufficient to withstand the forces applied in even moderate conditions. This could be a very good product with a little better design and quality control.

I am so sorry for all of the trouble you have had with the Repeller 360s. We would be happy to replace your second one or you could try the Bird Spider 360 https://www.birdbgone.com/products/bird-deterrents/bird-spider-360.html that works well one boats as well. They come in 2', 4', 6' and 8' diameters, depending on the amount of coverage you need. The 4' or 6' would be close to the same coverage as the Repeller. High cost for not so high performance
The washers would back slide even after putting a 90 degree bend in the hook, I had to safety wire the hook at every joint connecting the next screen section.

item does not spin after installation
purchased first bird b gone Item and came in broken in the package. looked like it was improperly packaged. Called company and they quicly resent a replacement. Gave them a 5star review.
Order a new one form my friend order # 100019253 it was received in good shape. before installing it it was not spinning properly but figure it would loosen up with use. after a week it does not spin. Item is installed on top of a lanai 26 feet above ground. too bad! In our community of 1400 homes here in Florida almost everyone has a lanai.

Yellow/Gold crown heron
Materials did not work against yellow crown herons at all, I'm disappointed because they come on the property each year over 100 and they make a serious mess.

So sorry the visual deterrents did not work, however Herons are a large bird that takes a lot to scare them away. You say you have hundreds on the Inn, what are they doing? Are they on the building, in the trees or just gathering around the grounds? We would like to have a professional bird control installer in your area look at the property to give you better suggestions of how you might be rid of the Herons. Good System
Our offices are located next to a recycling sorting center. It attracts sea gulls in the winter. The gulls were making a total mess of our parking area as well as our vehicles. Since we installed the Bird-B-Gone system with two remote speakers the issues have been eliminated.
Our company is an electrical contractor firm. As part of a government contract I have installed this system for the US Navy in two of their base entrance canopies and they are happy with the results. No birds have nested in the steel structure of the conopy.

So sorry about the issues with the Sonic Shield. We would be happy to take that back and replace it for a new unit. Also, the bird spider works either by spinning or my the wiggling motion the arms make in a slight breeze. If you are using the spider for pigeons they should not be able to land where the spider is installed and within the radius of the arms. The bird mesh is heavy weight and durable. Not too difficult to cut. The clips that are used with the mesh are a bit lacking. Many came apart after clipping off the excess. Opted to not clip most, and a few that slid, I ended up bending.
I haven't had any pigeons since I added the mesh.

Plastic bird spikes
I ordered these online. They arrived much more quickly than I thought they would. I installed them on the gates to my fenced flower garden to try to keep the wild turkeys out. The turkeys watched me install the spikes, which have been on the gates for about 3 weeks, and the turkeys haven't been in the garden once! Nor have any birds been harmed--they seem to know to stay away from these things. Very happy!
