A Very Useful App
Birdie is a helpful app and enables me to record most facets of my client's day concisely.
I do feel that, in places, it lacks flexibility. If one adds something in error ( e.g.PRN medication or drink volume )one cannot go back and edit it.
One can also not edit or add to comments under "mood" or "mental health"
Under " Incontinence" one cannot note that a pad was wet AND soiled. One has to add 2 separate entries, which appears 2 indicate that 2 pads have been changed.
Adding photos is not always possible at the time one notices something that should be highlighted. It is not possible to take a photo and add it later when updating Birdie

For tasks like PRN medication, drink volume, or mood, there is an option to discard and re-add these entries if something is entered incorrectly. If you'd like guidance on how to do this, please feel free to check out our Birdie Help Centre, or reach out to the support team directly—they’d be more than happy to help!
As for uploading photos, we understand this can be challenging. For privacy and data security reasons, we currently do not allow photos to be added later, but we appreciate your understanding on this.
Regarding the incontinence notes, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’ve shared your feedback with the relevant team so we can look into how we might improve this in the future.

It is easy to use but you need to improve in other area like, we must know the next carer to that visit. It helps a lot in person centred care. The app can be force logged by unintentionally. Meaning it needs safeguards on this area. It does not include soup either on fluids or on food. It does not give the carer the flexibility to record other areas. On toilet it does not include urine bottle or bucket

Regarding your point about seeing the next carer for a visit, we actually do have this feature! If enabled by your care manager, you can view up to 7 days' worth of upcoming visits. You can find more details on the Birdie Help Centre.
It sounds like you're referring to the manual check-in feature. This feature is designed to ensure that carers can always access their visits without being blocked, and we do have safeguards in place to track these actions and maintain safety.
Your feedback about including soup in the fluids section and more options for recording toilet use, like urine bottles or buckets, is really valuable. I’ve shared this directly with our team so we can look into adding these features in the future.
