I had a very disappointing experience with Blue Collar Pet Transport, specifically with an employee named Sam. This company advertises itself as providing secure, worry-free pet transport, but my interaction was the opposite.

Sam spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional manner, making false accusations that I had withheld important information about my dog’s behavior. I explained that I was unaware of any issues and shared all the details I knew in good faith. He claimed my dog had been aggressive and bitten or attempted to bite someone—allegations that caused me significant stress. Out of concern for my dog’s safety and well-being, I investigated further and discovered that these claims were untrue.

This experience left me feeling uneasy and lacking trust in the service. Professionalism, clear communication, and accuracy are crucial when it comes to transporting beloved pets, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Do NOT use Blue Collar Pet Transport! My wife and I ignored our guts and the negative reviews, and I deeply regret it. We needed to move Ozzie, a berna-doodle, from FL to TX and found Blue Collar on-line. We hired them to transport a sick/vulnerable dog, Ozzie, who has chronic Bordaella and an IGA deficiency (translation: catches anything & everything and gets really sick), while my wife flew to visit her sick Mom. The sales manager promised a professional, private, direct-route transport with no unplanned stops and our harness staying on for the entire trip (it’s a contract line item). The pre-trip planning went fine, but the day of the transport was a disaster. First, the driver showed up almost an hour late. Second, after leaving with Ozzy we watched the AirTag (Pro-Tip = put an Air-tag in your Dogs collar/harness) make a 40-minute stop at a random spot off the route to TX. Concerned, my wife called the driver who initially didn’t answer. When the driver finally did answer, the excuses started (“I was stopping for gas” …For 40 minutes? “I was visiting my mother’s grave” …Is she buried in someone’s front yard because there is no Cemetery anywhere near where you were? Not to mention that her stopping at a grave was clearly not a planned stop in the contract), and 3) At some point, Ozzy’s harness was inexplicably removed and put back on backward (in violation of the contract they had us sign and why? What was she doing with my dog?). That was enough to earn a bad review, but that was when it got even worse. Realizing we had a problem with the driver, my wife called the sales manager for help. She explained the situation, and was understandably concerned. He listened for a minute and then proceeded to call her “too uptight,” cancel the trip, and hang up on her. A few minutes later, he seemed to realize the error of his ways and texted back apologizing for hanging up (“It was out of character of me” …maybe?) and promised a full refund. Ozzy was returned (freaked out…what were they doing with my dog?), and my wife had to cancel her flight since she had the dog again. Later, she was contacted by a customer complaint specialist (seems odd that you need a full-time person to handle complaints, unless you have A LOT), “Hunter”. He listened to our story/gathered documentation, expressed regret and concern, and promised the owner would contact us to “make it right.” As of the date of this review, 10 days later, we’ve been ghosted…No Refund, No Calls/Responses from anyone. My wife had to cancel her flight to visit her mom and figure out an alternative method to get my immunocompromised dog home. It cost us lots of extra expenses, cancellation fees, and wasted time. Looking back more deeply at the reviews and info on these guys (12 complaints to the BBB!), we should have trusted our guts and avoided Blue Collar Pet Transport. We also realize that this review will almost certainly be met with an aggressive, insulting response from the owner blaming us for something to deflect blame from their lousy service (during and after). Bring it on! Save yourself the pain and avoid this company at all costs!

My cat had gotten out of our home and then the house was sold and an out of state move followed. Nine months later, our Bella was found under a deck and through her chip a call came in to me.

I had to quickly arrange for transport for her from Maryland to SC so I called Blue Collar Pet Transport that night and by the next morning, a man had flown to MD, picked her up at my neighbor's home, went back to the airport where he flew to Raleigh Durham and then drove down to my home in South Carolina. So, within 24 hours of my call for help I had my baby Bella back in my arms.

He also sent pics and updates throughout the trip so I knew she was ok and getting closer. If you need pet transport, I highly recommend Blue Collar Pet Transport. My choice was for a private trip but they also offer group transport for a lower cost. You can trust your furry family members with these amazing people.

Worst decision ever. They did not even comply with the contract . I have an 11 years old shepherd mix rescue and I paid for service in cabin with a handle. Guess what he kept changing day as his convenience so he had to pick up the dog at my home in ocala take mia to a fly on 4 the july at 5 pm orlando airport he came to pick her up , with atitud at 1 pm of course it was imposible to make it on time go to the airport almost 3 hrs away , return the rental car and catch the plane so he said no the dog does not respond to commands, which is not true , is a pet , support and yes her behavior is perfect but he is not a k9 military trained . So I lost the money and all the arregments made in buenos aires to pick up , I was already there . Then he said I have to pay 2000 more and I send the dog by cargo which the whole point was not to do it that way , because she could travel with me if that was the case. I hired the company to avoid cargo since my dog is old ,but it did not have any other choice since I was already in argentina . Finally he arrange the dog to be flying in cargo on the 7 arriving on the 8 . Guess what the paperwork was wrong
Incomplete , the breed was incorrect since he put Sherman sheperd only like pure , " no mix " also ship it as an import. My dog ended up in warehouse with contraction materials , carrying by fort cliff machine like a palette of tiles .
Thanks to the fact I speak the language perfectly and all the employees , which I went from one office ot the other ,5 of them, as soon as they realize that the import in the papers was a pet they starting to help me to speed the process took almost 5 hours, got the dog at 1 pm she was in a cage from the day before arround 5 pm . Nobody could undertand how I paid almost 7000 and they made that mistake. She is a re location pet since I have doble citizenship not an import since the 4 until today 8 I been asking for some manager from blue collar to contact me nobody did , even at the airport nobody knew how she survive the whole odyssey. I ol.os forgot I had to paid here because of the import mistake, storage and all , almost another 400 . So no I will not ever recoment them . This site asked .e for more information to make sure it was a legit review , guess what my sweet dog passed away no long after the super stressful trip . Until today january 2026 non any kind of contact was made no refund for breaching the contract nor for the damage done.

Our new family member was brought to us in Houston TX from a shelter in New Mexico. Arrangements were made by the original owner and was the result of a family friend’s emergency rehoming need. Felix was our transporter and he was so nice and friendly throughout. We received timely updates and ETAs with photos each step of the way!! ! She was delivered to us happy and healthy and has settled in so well. Thank you very much!

Hunter was succinct in his information. He went out of his way to make sure that I had all my questions answered.
As we all know, pets are personal and we need assurance of their safety.
I feel that our new puppy is in good hands until he reaches our home.

Have never had a pet transported before was a little nervous but this company blue color pet transport did an awesome job from beginning to end 1800 miles. Let us know every step of the way where they were and pictures of the dog were very caring. I would totally recommend this company to anyone.

Mike and his crew are so amazing . They communicated the whole way . This dog is my life line and he made it to me in great condition! I recommend these guys and in the future if I needed to transport my pet again I would do it with them. I can’t thank them enough for getting him to so quick !

I am really impressed by the quality of care my pets received on their journey. I have 2 dogs and 4 cats that needed to be transported from Florida to Wyoming. We knew that any trip that long would be stressful for them so we wanted them to get there as quickly as possible. Mike and his co driver Kerria were amazing! Mike has the most gentle, calm and patient disposition. He really cares and it shows. They delivered our pets within 33 hours and included photos of the dogs on the way. I was kept informed throughout the process and felt very comfortable trusting them with our precious cargo. Maureen at the office also kept in touch and set up our group text. Overall it was the least stressful option for our family and I would not hesitate to use Blue Collar Pet Transport with Mike and Kerria as the drivers.
