This service is second to none and really helped me get through the final interview after I failed in my own first attempt. Highest recommendation don't look elsewhere. Bluelight were absolutely superb, I really don't believe I would of got through the recruitment process without them.
From first contact I was on a webinar 4 hours later, daunting at first but was soon put at ease by the friendly and approachable manner of the coaches.
Darren went above on beyond with his 121 coaching, even taking time out of a family emergency to honour an appointment I had with him - this was really appreciated.
Although Darren is easy to get along with, he gets the most out of you in the time you have together and wants the best outcome for his students so, if you've spent a lot of time working on something and it's not good enough, be prepared to be told it isn't good enough, he will say it straight and put you on the road to being your best.
Darren is a wealth of knowledge and has become something of role model to me in just the short time he spent coaching me.
So something I was extremely apprehensive about became something which I really enjoyed because of Bluelight giving me the tools and knowledge to tackle the application process with confidence and enthusiasm.

I discovered and enrolled myself into the BLC team following my first Senior interview failure and can confidently say it was the best decision I made to progress my career. Looking past the price, this has been a worth while investment into what is hopefully going to be a long and healthy career. I enrolled 4 months after my first attempt and only had 1 months prep before my next interview due to how quickly I was given a date. My first interview I failed by a few marks but it’s safe to say that the marks I got, I just about scraped from my poor answers and don’t get me wrong, I prepared to the best of my ability to achieve answers that I thought were sufficient. I was very mistaken. Following my coaching with the amazing Sarah, who may I add has a bottomless pit of experience and knowledge, I passed my second attempt with flying colours. The second time round I was a few marks off top whack instead of the pass mark with feedback from interviewers being I was the best candidate they had. I was genuinely shocked to hear this, having read similar posts and reviews regarding BLC, to achieve that kind of feedback really was eye opening to the opportunities BLC have to offer. I am forever grateful for the support and look forward to return once I’m part of the promotion process.

I signed up to the Bluelight Final Interview Academy with only 2 weeks to go until my final interview for PC. I wholeheartedly believe without the guidance and support of the academy and my personal coach, Darren, I wouldn't have succeeded - especially considering I've never really had an interview before, being so young. The academy provided a whole host of material regarding the type of questions your interview panel may ask you, the appropriate structure for your answers depending on the question, and even guidance and support for additional assessment's you can be asked to complete during your police recruitment process.

Moreover, during our 1-to-1 sessions, Darren provided me with clear guidance on what I needed to achieve to be successful at my final interview and therefore drastically improved my confidence. Darren was super easy to get along with and always available whenever I had any questions or doubts.

Ultimately Bluelight provided me with the recipe for success; it was then just down to me to follow and implement what Darren suggested - it's really that simple! Absolutely worth all the time and the effort!

I’d like to share my heartfelt thanks to Raj and Andrea — and also to Catherine and Brandon — for guiding me through my superintendent promotion process.

Raj and Andrea are very different in style and personality, but that combination became one of the biggest strengths of the journey. Raj brought his big personality, endless encouragement, strategic insight, and those brilliantly terrible dad jokes that somehow lift you up when you need it most. He made me genuinely believe I could achieve this — and that belief was half the battle.

Andrea balanced this perfectly with her calm logic, structure, and unwavering support. She helped me make sense of the process, stay grounded, and keep pushing forward with clarity and confidence.

Signed up to complete my day 2 DC with the MET. The service was fantastic, my mentor Richard was excellent and worked around my busy work schedule.

The level of detail provided is phenomenal, and all of the additional seminars were fantastic. If you’re considering this I would suggest going ahead with it and taking the plunge. Blue light don’t just get you ready for your assessment, they get you ready for working in the force you have chosen. It really is a great service.

I joined Bluelight with only 3 weeks to go before my final interview for DC, there was a lot of content to cover over such a short period of time, particularly when working as well (there’s a reason why they say start early!). I do feel if I hadn’t of had this extra tuition I may have felt overwhelmed on the day and not as prepared as I was with the mentoring from Darren.

All the information and guidance he gave me definitely helped me be fully prepared for the assessment. If it wasn’t for Bluelight and Darren’s help I would’ve struggled. Definitely worth the investment.

Joining Bluelight Academy has been the best decision I’ve made regarding my preparation for the final interview with MET. Knowing the DC route is one of the hardest way to get into the Met, after passing my OAC Assessment watching and learning from Brendan’s YouTube videos, I’ve decided to join the Academy and I can truly say it was the best decision for me. Their professionalism and dedication was outstanding and the final interview course was amazing. All videos and webinars have helped me so much in order to be the best version for my interview. Even that I had some knowledge about policing as I have a Master degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice , I can truly say I couldn’t have done it without Bluelight.

Truly amazing and outstanding team!

Entering one of the most toughest processes in police recruitment is certainly a daunting experience, but doing it with Bluelight in my corner evolved that into such an incredible and confident ride. I joined the Bluelight family just before my OAC week and I was paired with Raj, who quite honestly changed my whole perspective and mindset and gave me the support needed! This resulted in +95% overall score and placing me in the top candidates! I was then quickly paired with Catherine as my final interview coach which simply put, was amazing and gave me a solid direction to head in and our 1:1s were invaluable. I could not of had anyone better! Both Raj and Catherine have supported me throughout the recruitment process and has always been at the end of a message/email at any given time and it’s been an absolute pleasure to do them proud and pass the recruitment process. Would fully recommend it to any person who wants to join the police force in the country. All amazing and helpful coaches who teach you thoroughly about how to prepare for the online assessment centre. This is the best of the best.

Thanks to Bluelight I passed the Met DC Bolt On, which is notorious for being tough to pass. My coach was Raj who has had an exceptional career in the police and his knowledge and expertise is valuable. I feel like a lot of the information you will naturally absorb as muscle memory which is crucial on the day as you don’t have a lot of time to think. If it wasn’t for Bluelight I definitely would have got overwhelmed and panicked on the day, so I’m incredibly grateful!

I passed my sergeants process first time with Raj as my coach. He has been amazing and made our coaching sessions enjoyable but also very informative. He put me at ease as I had very little confidence in myself, but he built me back up and told me to believe in myself. Blue light really is worth every single penny and I’d recommend it to anyone going through a promotion process.
