We booked an apartment through booking.com for 5 weeks for December 2022. The condition was dreadful with mold wet floors, blood stained bed, dirty oven lacking g basic appliances etc..wecomplained to bnbird who sent cleaners but we had to do the cleaning ourselves. We asked for refund as we lost over 7 days waiting for action. They have managed to alter our review on booking.com . When you look at the apartment review our review flashes past and you cannot read it. I would not recommend this company to manage any property of mine or rent from them.

We found one accommodation in lisbon, managed by BnBird Homes agency, in a deplorable condition, with stains on the linens, insects present throughout, and an unbearable sewer odor. The photos displayed on the website were excessively embellished, which led to confusion as they did not correspond in any way to reality. Although the BnBird Homes agency, responsible for this rental, sent cleaning agents, we had already done a significant portion of the cleaning ourselves because we had no other choice, given our three children. Despite our efforts, the accommodation remained unacceptable even after cleaning. We requested a full refund, supported by Booking, in order to leave the property as soon as possible, but this request was categorically denied. The agency only agreed to refund the 80 euros cleaning fee, which is a small fraction of the total amount of 1449 euros we had paid. To this day, we have received nothing. This experience with BnBird Homes agency has greatly impacted our family vacation and left us profoundly disappointed. We strongly advise avoiding accommodations managed by this agency, especially this one. You can also perform an online search to find numerous negative reviews about them.

The transfer from the airport to our apartment was waiting for us at the airport, our host was always very responsive and helpful, she always responded on all our requests (even at night when we lost the keys) and the apartment itself was just more than we could wish for! 10 out of 10!

We booked a flat by BnBird homes over booking.com in Povoa de Varzim. The house and the flat smell very bad - old and mold. As we entered the flat with the person from company, who doesn't speak any word in English (the company says they speak English) many of small and big insect were on the ceiling. I asked the person what's that, but she said nothing! How? She can't speak English. The flat was dirty, windows smeary, ceiling and walls cracked. In the corner lay died insects. Kitchen - smeary and dirty. We left the flat after 1 hour. The company says the flat is clean, and there can't be any cancelling or redemption or refund and any compromise. Even tourist taxes were not refunded.
I wish to nobody to get in touch this company! I can provide many pictures who verify my statement.

Worst experience in my 13 years as an Airbnb customer. Rude, poor customer service. Fraudulent dealing with additional fees for late arrival even after booking with their driver. They claim I had to bring additional cash late at nite for late arrival. Now I have to book a hotel for my family last minute. Not the best first experience for Portugal either. This agency is why Airbnb is destroying communities like a cancer. They charge hosts over 30% for this terrible service. Now dealing with resolutions to get refunded.b bnb bird is a vulture. They are trying to have this removed I have evidnce I will provide when they flag it again.

This company is a fraud! They charge you a deposit, and come up with some imaginary damage. the deposit was 150 € and a week later they send an email that "a bathroom window has broken and we must charge 110 €". This is not true, and they sent me no pictures or any other proof of this so called damage. Also, new guests have been in the apartment after us. Also, very shady customer service and contacts from their side. SO AVOID THIS!! There are so many great laces and honest companies in the world that DO NOT USE THIS!!

Horrible scam spoiled the experience.
So, it turns out these people are just cheap thieves who are more interested in making a quick buck than serving their clients. Be warned! They refused to refund our deposit claiming, without evidence, that we had damaged a fridge. They sent us pictures of the fridge but they were pictures of a totally different fridge. When we pointed this out they changed their story to say it was another fridge we had damaged. (Coincidentally the cost to repair the damage was exactly the same!).
This is an old trick commonly used by car rental companies to extract extra money from their customers - they claim you have caused some damage and withhold some of the deposit. Of course they won't actually fix the damage - because they can get the next poor sucker to pay for it again... and again... and again.
They have been reported to the authorities and hopefully the city council will realise that companies like this give the entire rental sector a bad name and will take some action against them. In the meantime, if you do rent a property through these clowns be sure to take photographs of the entire property on the day you move in so you can prove that any existing damage was there when you moved in.
Personally, you couldn't pay me to use these people again.

Renting an apartment has never been as terrible.
Worst experience ever !
-Toxic smell coming out of the bathroom that makes hard staying in the apt. It’s full of perfumes to cover the smell, obviously doesn’t work and gives HEADACHES!
- extremely dirty plates
- many broken stuff
- dirty kitchen equipment
