The way they give us a landing from our side as small tour operators. They are somehow affordable and giving the required exposure of our business.

Bad experience

I used Bokun to manage my bookings, but I encountered serious issues, especially with OTA platform synchronization. The biggest problem was with Viator – time slots appeared as unavailable when they were actually free, leading to lost potential bookings.

When I tried to resolve the issue with customer support, I faced an extremely slow and ineffective team. Responses took a long time, and the solutions provided were generic and unhelpful. For software that charges a monthly fee plus a percentage per booking, I expected much better service and a more reliable system.

If reliable synchronization with OTA platforms is crucial for your business, I recommend considering other alternatives.

Bad OTAs' conexion

Every 2-3 months, Bokun has big conectivity issues with sales channels. Do not recommend to use it.

Our experience with the firm was quite…

Our experience with the firm was quite difficult. Wrong information and lack of help. Long chat came to nothing. A lot of time wasted. Terrible experience.

In reply to Fabio: The experience happened last night with your agent Ashpak. In the end, I asked to have a complaint filed and he simply terminated the chat. So it was not very nice. He later emailed at 22:42 last night. There is a chat transcript. Perhaps you can start from that that. I have just managed to remedy the problem by myself today. I appreciate your quick response and offer to help and so change my rating for this.

Update: My online chat is blocked by their agents in India where Bokun online chat support is based I suppose. I have been waiting for over an hour this afternoon, 9 Feb and also emailed their support. I am wondering whether it is to do with this review. This is very disappointing considering Bokun is essentially a service company.

Amazing chat agent

The agent at Bokun was amazing on the chat system. Her used everyday words and when I didn't know how to do something, he suggested another way which I was familiar with.

I felt relaxed and confident by the end off the chat and able to rectify the mistakes that I had made.

I felt valued, not stupid!
