Order of two 'new' books (encyclopedias) arrived with the covers roughly ground/torn off to show the board inside in multiple areas. Both very scratched too like they've been dragged over a rough floor. The packaging was fine and it's clear they've sent these out in this condition. With the damage, there would have been no way to miss it when packing them. I've emailed multiple emails and their social media multiple times to arrange a return and I've been ignored. Would not recommend.

Recently ordered a set of books through them. Human error resulted in a smaller set arriving. A photo and a quick email exchange resulted in the additional books being sent. Superb customer service, as well as being great value too. Highly recommended.

Very easy to use website, ordering and payment options very easy. Ordered on a Sunday afternoon, books arrived on Tuesday morning. Haven’t opened the inner packaging yet (its a set of 10 books) as its a gift for my son, but they look to be in perfect condition due to excellent packaging. Very pleased and will absolutely use this company again.

I’ll be honest my first set of books arrived damaged but they were quick to respond once I made them aware of the damage. They got a new set of books sent out quickly resolving the issue.

The reason for 4 stars and not 5 I feel this company is selling “seconds” (items that due to slight defects were rejected during quality control). This is absolutely fine and is a good idea. It means the customer gets a discount and its more environmentally friendly.

The only issue with this is you have to make it clear that’s what you are selling. Not just say they are “heavily discounted” without mentioning the chance of slight imperfections. If they were more honest I could give them 5 stars and I would have accepted the original books delivered.

Beware- sale items and discounted items may well be reduced for reasons not stated in product description!

I ordered a set of (10) books for a 3 year olds birthday party. When they arrived I discovered their spines formed a Christmas tree and they were numbered. Clearly they were left over stock from an advent calendar type Christmas collection. Neither the numbering, nor the Christmas tree illustration was mentioned in the description on the website. I obviously could not give the books as a present to a child in April so I asked for a refund. They agreed but will not refund the p&p i paid or the p&p I will have to pay to return them- so I will be out of pocket ++. I feel given the misrepresentation of the product they should at least refund the original postage, even if I have to pay to return them. Unfortunately their customer service disagree.

The books look great, delivery was on time and there was no fuss. Cannot comment on the content as they are a birthday present and they have not been opened yet.

Ordered and paid for a complete boxed set of books. What I got in return was badly and loosely packaged books in a larger, normal box which meant many books were warped and distorted. These were to be a gift but can't now be given. I emailed the company to give them a chance to rectify but no response. Not good enough. Won't use again.

As Usual. Books delivered matched the website description. Books well packed and delivered in perfect condition. Delivery was within the time period specified at order. Time of delivery was within the window specified by delivery company. These guys are reliable.

I was looking for some cook books and found books4people they are cheaper than a lot of other sites and had a good collection.

Unfortunately I needed to return a book as it was purchased by accident.
