Avoid!

I am now seeking further action to reclaim my money through courts. I have no doubt that the provider will give an excuse and their own account once this is posted but the facts are this company failed to even meet awarding body procedure.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience so that prospective learners can make an informed decision.

I enrolled on the Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification and found the assessment process to be extremely frustrating. Throughout the course I felt that the expectations placed upon my work went beyond the published assessment criteria, with repeated requests for additional detail that, in my opinion, was not proportionate to the level or credit value of the qualification. Despite my attempts to address every piece of feedback, I was left feeling that the goalposts were continually moving.

When I raised a formal complaint, I requested evidence to support the conclusion that there had been no bias in the assessment, clarification of the awarding organisation with whom I had been registered, and my learner registration number. These questions were not answered in the initial complaint response.

The most concerning aspect of my experience came when I contacted the awarding organisation directly. I was informed that I had not been registered as a learner for the qualification I had paid to undertake. This was extremely disappointing to discover, particularly after I had already completed substantial work and invested significant time and money into the course.

As someone who works within education and delivers Ofqual-regulated qualifications myself, I fully understand the importance of quality assurance, standardisation and maintaining assessment standards. My concern is not with robust assessment, but with ensuring that learners are assessed fairly, transparently and in accordance with the published qualification requirements.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this provider. I would encourage anyone considering enrolling to confirm their registration with the relevant awarding organisation and ensure they understand the assessment process from the outset.

Overall, I found the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course lacked sufficient teaching input, as learning was largely self-directed through reading materials. While I gained some useful knowledge and insights from the coursework, the content often felt repetitive and there were limited opportunities for deeper learning.

A particular strength of the course was the support provided by my tutor, Felicia, who was responsive, helpful, and provided clear, constructive feedback. The chat forum, user-friendly platform, and example assignments were also valuable resources.

I especially enjoyed the Micro-Teach assessment, which offered a practical opportunity to apply learning and receive feedback. However, the organisation of the Micro-Teach sessions could be improved. Short notice of session dates and late confirmation of timings made it difficult to plan around work commitments.

In summary, while the course included some positive features, particularly the tutor support and practical assessment opportunities, greater teaching input and improved organisation would help create a more engaging and enriching learning experience.

I successfully completed my HLTA course with Bright Pathway. Maya was incredibly supportive throughout my course journey No matter how many questions I had, she was always patient, polite, and willing to help me overcome every hurdle.

I did a course with bright pathway and was pleased with how it went, there was always someone on the other end of an email and feedback was comprehensive and helpful. Overall I lost my way a little with the course but was able to extend my access to it and then I managed to refocus and have now passed! So even if life gets in the way they are there to help you. The price I paid was a bargain compared to other places too.

Honestly, the whole thing was an absolute joke from start to finish.

The lack of organisation and communication is shocking. You don’t even get the full name of your tutor, which already tells you how dodgy the setup is. There’s no proper support, no real way to contact anyone — just a useless chat system that barely works.

The “students” they give you for the practical part? It’s laughable. It’s so obviously random people being paid to pretend, doing some weird role‑play performance. Nothing about it feels professional or legitimate. I was genuinely shocked at how bad it was.

I spoke to other learners doing the same course and several of them left because they couldn’t deal with how chaotic and disorganised everything was. That says it all.

And the final straw: when I finished the course, they gave me a cheap‑looking certificate. I asked for the proper certificate from the awarding body and they told me I should have informed them at enrolment. First time I ever heard that. Shows how unclear, misleading, and shady their whole process is.

Save yourself the stress — choose a proper training provider. This one is not it.

Sample assignments were poor. Assignments should have been worded better. Assessment plans should be holistic assessment. For A2 and A3 it was not clear to use mandatory assessment methods in assessment plans. A1 in one question I was told to mention limitations and was reject and told to add benefit's this was not clear. Maya was very helpful course material was poor

It was easy to set up and register, I had great help from the online chat to help me through the process of getting the forms filled out and my payment done.

Excellent communication with John Edward really dedicated to getting everything set up for you including putting the time in over the weekend ultimately there are hundreds of online training providers however it’s their communication and response times that won me over

I recently completed my Level 3 CAVA certification with Bright Pathway and The Educationist Group. Overall, the course is really good and offers great value. I am especially grateful for the amazing guidance and support from my assessor, Maya. She was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my entire learning journey.
My only critique is that some of the assignment instructions felt a bit unclear. Specifically, for units 2 and 3, it was quite confusing to figure out exactly which evidence was mandatory for which unit. Clearer guidelines for those sections would make a huge difference.
Despite that minor issue, it is a brilliant program and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to qualify!
