Driver refused to deliver
Your driver refused to deliver, due to sun damage and hair line cracks on the top of the tank. So no delivery was made.

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry we couldn’t complete your delivery on this occasion.
Our drivers conduct their own risk assessments of oil tanks before filling them. If they identify potential risks—such as sun damage or hairline cracks—they may decide not to proceed to avoid the chance of a leak. While we understand this can be frustrating, the health and safety of our staff, your property, and yourself must remain our top priority.

Nothing is too much trouble
We had unexpectedly run out of oil due to an issue with our oil monitor. I called Broadland Fuels at 8am as soon as they opened and they were at our house delivering oil within the hour! Excellent service and nothing is ever too much trouble. We have been customers for many many years and this is exactly why. Thank you to all the staff…you do a great job!

Had to phone several times and still no result.
Delivered later than the date they gave me.
Had to ask for refund on the quantity not delivered. Not yet received.
Disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. I’ve looked into your order and can see that a delivery confirmation email was sent, though I appreciate these can sometimes end up in the junk folder.
Your order was placed as a value delivery with a due date of 24th January, and we delivered on the 22nd—within the expected timeframe. While we had planned to deliver earlier, unforeseen tanker issues unfortunately caused a delay.
Regarding your refund, if we’re unable to deliver the full load (for example, if the tank is full), we will automatically process a refund or add credit to an account for Direct Debit customers. I can see that the team processed your refund last month. If you don't receive it by Friday 7th February then please email feedback@broadlandfuels.co.uk and I'll investigate this for you.
On this occasion, I don’t believe a 1* review entirely reflects our service and would kindly ask you to consider updating your rating. We appreciate your business and hope to serve you again in the future.

Excellent service in a crisis situation!
Excellent service received today from Broadland Fuels. I had an emergency situation in which I’d run out of oil and both James & Jo were super helpful and efficient at getting a much needed delivery to me the same day.
I can’t fault the service provided - wouldn’t go anywhere else! 5*! Thank-you! 😊

Ordered on line and it was a relatively easy process and the oil arrived earlier than predicted.

Refused to deliver oil and no refund yet.
The driver refused to deliver oil due to a crack in my tank. I am not chastising him as I am aware he has rules but it was just before Christmas therefore, I had no oil. Secondly, I've been chasing reimbursement of the money I paid for the oil and yet to see a penny. You are very quick in taking it but not paying back.

I'm sorry to hear we were unable to deliver your oil, particularly given the time of year, but appreciate you seeing it from our driver's point of view with H&S concerns.
I trust that any delays with the refund are due to bank holidays but I will also check in with our Finance team to ask for an update and see if there is anything we can do to speed up the process. When I get a response I'll reply back to the email address used to make your review.

The fantastic lorry drive
The fantastic lorry drive, putting metal plates each side of the gate, backing up the drive only to get stuck on the turning corner. He came up to the house to explain he would drive over two trees & the box hedging we had a look at the angle & aborted the delivery, great communication, full refund received
