GIFT CARD SCAM

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THEM

I bought one for a family member expecting a delivery on their birthday and after purchase the amount was taken from my card from Hemingways who manage their gift cards and I got no order number or confirmation email and my family member got no gift cards. Reached out to CS and they wouldn’t help me and stopped responding after a couple messages I’m shocked with their response, 100€ down the toilet a disgrace

My order included small bottles of perfume on a gift set. On receipt of my order I noticed one of the bottles was almost complely empty.
I contacted the BT Customer Service team and received an answer within an hour. Siobhan was the lady who helped me. She apologised and assured me it would be sorted. She also provided me with the steps necessary to return the package. Which I did. A replacement order was dispatched that day and I received it within 48 hours.
I was very satisfied with the service I received and will have no hesitation ordering again from BT. A big mention to Siobhan in BT who provided a super service to me throughout.

I would give zero stars if I could regarding the online delivery service, ordered a parcel for same day delivery Dublin on Thursday morning, let’s just say it’s now Monday morning and I still have no parcel and everytime I get on to customer care I’m being told it’ll arrive the following day, no sign of the parcel today either, save your money and don’t bother with them, they will pass you off no matter how much money you spend. Very disappointing. Don’t offer same day or even next day delivery if you can’t provide it.

Update: it took me contacting the courier directly to get my parcel sorted but eventually got it, so definitely still would not recommend shopping online with Brown Thomas, I also found it slightly concerning that I was contacted by the senior customer service experience manager ‘Joe’, he offered me a gift as an apology, and let’s just say we are heading into may now and I still haven’t received said apology gift, so yes the customer service is just as bad as the actual online shopping experience!!!!

The female security guard was extremely rude when I was entering the store this morning. It’s such a shame because the other employees in the store itself are lovely and accommodating. I would hire new security staff to avoid putting off customers.

Was in Brown Thomas in Dundrum looking for new aftershaves to buy and was assisted by Séan. He was a lovely guy and was really helpful and knowledgable about all the products. Ended up buying two aftershave bottles from him. The purchase was a great experience thanks to him.

I have been at brown Thomas in Grafton street at Mac makeup stand. The staff is outstanding I really want to highlight Lucas, he’s been so sweet in approaching and helping me with my request, he spent a good few hours with me at trying to show me the best products combination 🙏. I highly recommend in case you’re looking for products specification and application. He’s very knowledgeable about MAC products. I’ll visit him soon again he’s a very sweet person .

Had a lovely young guy named Ian treat myself and my partner so well, did my makeup for me and got my partner a seat and was so chatty and spent a good 20 minutes with us. I did not feel any pressure to buy anything he was the most down to earth lovely employee I’ve met in a while, thank you for my foundation and blush Ian ☺️☺️

Staff on makeup counters have terrible bitchy attitude. Rather go online or to Arnotts

Outstanding customer service today and two weeks ago from manager Lisa in the food department in Brown Thomas Grafton St. Lisa helped me out with a problem I had with a Fortnum and Mason purchase and couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Thank you so much. And today, Zoe on the cash desk was just so lovely, warm and natural. It really just takes a simple smile and a few kind words for me to remember lovely staff and to bring me back into any shop. Thank you to both of you for being so kind and sweet. And also a mention for Martin in the homeware department who I’ve chatted to on many occasions. What a complete gentleman. And lastly (I didn’t catch their names) the staff in the electronics department (TVs) who I spoke to two weeks ago - really personable and helpful. Thank you very much.

I bought a bag which had a fault, the BT service desk was very quick to help and my issue was resolved very satisfactorily. They forwarded my query and advised me to go to the store where the manager replaced it and was also very nice to deal with: Overall a great experience

Abi is a wonderful sales person from the moment I arrived in the store until my departure she was there to ensure I was cared for with styles sizes etc.
She even brought me a glass of iced water without me requesting one.
It was a great experience overall
the kind a service that makes one want to return.
Which is a rarity these in Dublin retail.

I have shopped with Brown Thomas for 25 years. I have always found their service and assistance exemplary. Things go wrong and that is a given in life. The measure of greatness in this regard is how problems are dealt with. I recently had some confusion with an online order when an incorrect item arrived. Carmel from the customer service team was prompt and proficient at resolving matters. She was excellent to deal with and a credit to her team. I thank her for all her help.

I bought a pair of womens prada expensive... sunglasses 200euro +. Staff very helpful. However quality of the prada sunglasses very poor. I wouldnt recommend them, they scratched very easily , after wearing them for a short time, they became crooked & after some time the arm of the sunglasses broke twice 1st time repairable 2nd time not. Very disappointing.... zero recommendation.

The customer service is good but the website is very clunky. The filters aren't helpful and it can be difficult to search for items. Pictures of products are limited, products descriptions are vague, and dimensions are rarely available. It also doesn't help that the website is a carbon copy of the Arnotts one. The fact that this is supposed to be a "high-end" store isn't reflected on the poor website. Needs work.
