Loan transferred to BSI and very skeptical considering all the bad reviews. They have a new CEO and seems to be slowly turning things around. My basic inquiries and problems were handled promptly and resolved quickly. May be a different story for more complicated matters.

The worst customer service. Literally every single email goes unanswered. And if you’re fortunate enough to speak with a person on the phone, it’s even more frustrating. My mortgage was sold to them, I definitely didn’t have a choice.

This is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. My homeowners insurance has been cancelled over and over again because for some reason BSI collects the payments from me but doesn’t send them to my homeowners insurance company. Every time it happens they give me a song and dance as to why. But I always end up playing middle man between them and the insurance company. If you can help it STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!! This company truly doesn’t care about customer service and or you and house

Unfortunately, I ended up with BSI which was transferred from my old lender. They are horrible. I had a bankruptcy discharge in 04/2020 and sent them the legal document to allow me to obtain full access to my account. I've been doing this for a year now with no luck. Everytime I call they say that they never received the document and cannot release information to me.

We have been having issues gaining access to their online system to view our account. Every time we call in to customer service we get a different answer or are told what the prior associate said is incorrect. Delays in processing times due to errors on their end. Impossible to reach via email when trying to confirm documents have been received.

BSI has serviced about 10 loans for me - mostly originating with Visio lending. I thought the ‘disservicer’ title was kind of clever as they’re supposed to service loans. Lol. They owe me over $5000 in excess funds from a loan that was paid off about a month ago. Every time I call they say “the check is in the mail.” Why is it a big deal? Good question. If my $5K is part of $50M that they hold for an additional month, they get bucko (big bucks) in interest just for holding up payments. That’s wrong on many levels, and just penny wise thinking. I’ll get my money, but they’ll still be crooks.

This is a horrible loan servicing company. Nasty customer service reps. Old technology. Statements only updated once a month. Website from 1980. I'm refinancing just so I won't have to deal with this company anymore. They have used all kinds of stall tactics to prevent me from refinancing. I've asked for loan documents to give to the new loan company and they say they've sent them when they haven't.
BSI Financial will try to say you don't have insurance to get you to use their insurance which is much higher. ASK your mortgage company who services their loan and if it is BSI Financial go elsewhere. This is the worst loan servicing company I've ever dealt with. Just awful
