Quick..kind and helpful
And fixed the problem instantly !
Would definitely use James again
Highly recommended!

I would 100% recommend James, I took my ps5 controller to him as it was drifting badly. James fixed it really quickly and I was able to pick it up the next day. It's as good as new.

Had a PS5 HDMI port repaired in which James was able to reply and receive the console on the weekday and repaired it quickly the following week.

Excellent professional service

Very quick and helpful response, James was able to replace my Kindle battery sucessfully and at a great price. Very pleased to have found him! I will definitely use him again for any such problems. It was very helpful that he was situated close to me so that I could drop off and collect my Kindle rather than have to post it.

My first install using James' services was for an xbox modchip (Open Xenium) which was fine. The 2nd mod was for something not listed on his site, but I asked if he could upgrade my PS1's 2MB RAM to 8MB (I provided diagrams and pictures as well as the 4 x 2MB IC's required) this was additional to x-station, x-reset and a DFO (dual frequency oscillator for import game colour timings). He was happy to oblige and did a very neat job installing them all. I wouldn't use anyone else's services.

Brilliant modder. Super clean and efficient.

TLDR: Fast, fair rates, great level of communication, everything works, better alternative products pointed out to me so I could change the quote, I don't know what more could have been asked for.

I emailed to ask about a quote, expecting a delay because of jury service, there are no delay, what I thought might take a couple of days + a week because of civic duty took less than 24 hours.
I changed the quote, the new one came very quickly, accepted, paid, and less than 5 days from James receiving the amended quote received my goods in the mail.
It all works. At every step of the process James told me what was happening, when I asked for something to be purchased for me for the unit, he said he could, but offered my an alternative product that I didn't know about and prefer the sounds of.

Just received my original xbox back from James, it's perfect. The communication was amazing and I'm very happy with the services. Will happily use James again for different consoles in the future.

Very quick good quality repair on Xbox series x hdmi port also a very reasonable price

I contacted James about a mod that wasn't listed on his website, and get got back to me quickly to let me know it was something he could do, and how much it would be. I shipped the console to him, and had it back a week later, and I'm very happy with the results. Will definitely be recommending him for mod work to anyone I know who might be looking to get some done.

I’ve been a customer of James for years. He’s always done stellar work with quick turnarounds. His attention to detail and skill level made me trust him with several small and big mods to my personal retro collection. Highly recommended.

James sorted out my sons's Switch that had jammed-on controllers - very prompt service, fab communication and did a great job, would thoroughly recommend! Thank you.

I had an embroidery machine delivered from eBay which arrived with some internal damage from postage issues, James was able to fix the broken PCB with a very tidy soldering job on what is presumably not the typical sorts of products he works on!
Work was completed not only to a very high standard, but also on a very prompt turnaround and was at a great price too. Absolutely would recommend for any electronics repair works.

Took my sons Xbox series x for hdmi replacement I had amazing service great with updates highly recommend thanks again

Great job, and done very quickly as well. Thanks

Patient with my changes to the plan, completed the work promptly as soon as he could, and everything returned quickly and in good condition. Oh, and the PS2 with the Retro Gem HDMI kit installed works perfectly!

Great service. Modded my SNES with region free and replaced all capacitors. Quick and quality service. Recommend.

Great service! James did an N64 Retro Gem mod for me. Great communication, would highly recommend!

James fixed my PS5 very quickly with excellent communications throughout. I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough.
