Very helpful modding service
Second time using Bytes Free, this time it was a PAL NES for recap and a NESRGB install.
Yet again James offered some helpful advice and suggestions about the RGB mod. This really does make the difference between a good and a great service.
And again, turn around was quick at under a week.

Great service and easy process
James helped me get my PS5 working again with a hand to clean it to start which didn’t resolve the issue and then a prompt fix for a laser to get it back up and running. Quick and easy to sort out and helpful! Would recommend!

PS5 repair
PS5 was louder than a Harrier jet. Emailed James to ask if he can see what wrong with it. Sorted me right out, the console is now as quiet as a mouse. I would recommend this guy. Easy communication and easy delivery and collection

Atari 2600 RGB Mod Install
With James having previously carried out excellent work on both my PS1 and Saturn consoles, I asked him if it was possible to RGB mod my stock Atari 2600. This was no issue at all. Work done was first class and to his usual very high standard. I'm usually wary of mods that require case modifications but everything looks incredibly neat and precise. I've been having a blast today playing some old Atari games on my modern TV setup via my OSSC. Thanks again James :)

I recently commissioned a PS2 Slim with James at Bytes Free. He provided all the relevant info alongside his quotation so I could make informed decisions regarding what I wanted, and the work was completed to a high standard soon thereafter, with updates throughout the process. Would easily recommend and use Bytes Free again.

My PS4 sounded like a Jet engine it was louder than the TV. I took it in to Bytes Free and he did a excellent job in fixing it. The PS4 now operates as good as new, it's so quiet now. And it was done at a fair price. I would definitely use his services again.
