I recently purchased three Alan Sommers from Castle Fine Art. The limited edition prints are beautiful. The quality of the frames and finishing is superb. The price felt value for money and the ordering, follow up, delivery and attention to packaging to ensure safe transit was impressive. Customer service has been excellent throughout but I must highlight Dan Tortos in particular for exemplary attention to detail. Will be buying more from this company .

I'd not planned buying some artwork, but on a visit to Cardiff we saw a Johnny Depp piece in the Castle Fine Art gallery window (shop shut for the night) and fell in love with it.

We went online and saw the item was sold out, so added our name to the waiting list to say we were interested, thinking it would come to nothing.

Then Dan called the following day to let us know a similar Depp piece was being released and providing early access. We weren't as keen on that one, but Dan said he'd see if he could source one of the original pieces. Again, we thought it would come to nothing, but we were delighted to hear from Dan again a day later, to say he'd spoken with a customer who preferred the new piece, thereby releasing the original one they'd reserved for us to buy.

We were let down by the external delivery company when it came to receiving the artwork, but on notifying Dan of this he pulled out all the stops, recovering the piece from the delivery company and providing complementary delivery and installation by one of Castle Fine Art's own staff.

Unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but the installer came down from Birmingham to Bristol to hang the piece yesterday, offered helpful suggestions on position/height, and was very efficient. It was hung in minutes and looks great.

Overall I can't praise the company highly enough, and Dan has been a real star, providing the levels of service you just don't experience any more, and actually following through on his promises.

We'd have no hesitation in returning.

I must reinforce my previous feedback regarding Castle Fine Arts. Daniel my consultant has been amazing & kept me totally informed about all aspects - in particular regarding delivery of my piece/s. As for the packaging of & delivery of both pieces - perfect!! ( as expected). I highly recommend Castle Fine Arts, Daniel Tortos - fantastic art consultant & a huge thank you to all involved with the packaging & delivery arrangements ( the professional care that went into the pieces I bought has been 100 percent!!). Every single step has been totally flawless.

Recently I have bought 3 paintings from Rafael Mazzuco from Castle Fine Art Gallery in Bath. This was one of many purchases there since 2015. James was very helpful, polite, friendly and professional as always. He personally helped with delivery and installation. Tony Church has installed them very carefully, despite their size, weight and fragile surface and challenging access in height and narrow staircase. All packaging was taken away, carpets were hoovered, and in friendly atmosphere advice was given regarding final arrangement. Tony and James have helped even with re-installing my older paintings. I was always very satisfied with their service.

Tanya and Tony were friendly and efficient. Would certainly recommend them.

After a six week wait for a Dylan painting to be delivered and installed it was very disappointing to find the frame was marked on all four sides. This was picked up by Tony the installer.
I have bought many original paintings and prints from Castle Fine Art and overall I cannot fault the gallery staff in Exeter, especially Chris, Tanya and Elizabeth, and Tony the installer who always goes the extra mile.
I just hope I don’t have to wait another six to eight weeks for its return.
Update: It’s now ten days since my last review.
On enquiring about the time of return I was told it would be another two to three weeks. On past experience this will likely be another six weeks when arrangements for delivery are taken into consideration
I have reduced my star rating in the hope management will see this and hurry things up.

Easy to work with. Super reliable, and only inquire if you had previously expressed interest in a particular piece, style, artist. Got two pieces and will surely get more in the future!

We visited Castle Fine Art in Cardiff, not expecting to buy anything, but buy something we did. The piece we bought almost sold itself, but the deal Lucy put together for us was great and put any umming and arring on our part to bed.
The whole experience was excellent and very relaxed. We spent most of our time having a drink and chatting with Lucy about Billy Connolly and the best bars to visit. There was no issue with us taking the night to make a decision on buying the piece and when we returned the next day Hana was waiting to offer us another drink and make all the arrangements, making it all pretty seamless and as relaxed as our chat with Lucy.
Our deal involved 3 pieces, which were very carefully delivered, perfectly packed by Matt.

I had a fantastic experience dealing with Kloie Thomas-Witter when purchasing the Duncan McAfee piece "Everything is Ok"! She was very helpful, courteous and informative on the purchase and shipping procedure. Will definitely be buying more from Castle in the near future.
