Great experience
The crew that installed the wiring were terrific. They worked in 90 degree heat all day both days they were here. They explained what they were doing and why it needed to be done. The workmanship was great.

Second Generator
This was the second full house generator I purchased from CDS. My first generator lasted 13 years and was starting to fail. I chose CDS for the second one as I had great experiences with the first. All personnel were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend CDS to anyone considering purchasing a generator.

The service was good, but the charges were ridiculous.
The service man showed up as scheduled. It was quite apparent that he knew the problem before he got there, and all he had to do was touch a test meter to the control panel. From there he went to the truck and got a new control panel, which he installed in just a few short minutes. My problem is that I was charged $900 for a control panel that can be bought all day long for UNDER $600. I understand a minimum labor charge, and minor trip fee, but in my opinion the excessive charge for the part makes me rethink who I will call next time!

The 3 tech's
The 3 tech's, Brandon Stanley, John Sebek and Nate Koerner. This crew was outstanding. They know what to do and do it exceptionally well. CDS really are the experts at installing Generac generators. Even the Howard county inspector was impressed with their work. I would highly recommend CDS if you want the best tech's doing your generator install.

Good experience made better by installer
Mike, my installer and quote drafter, was amazing. He actually listened to what I was asking for and quoted me exactly what I wanted. However, the back office could use some improvements - scheduling was delayed and they didn’t know/understand that my installer could have also done the liquid propane work, which would have saved me the extra fees and coordination with my propane supplier. Overall a good experIence made much better by Mike!

Typically, we provide an installation timeline of 6–12 weeks, so we're happy to see your project was completed in just 4 weeks.
Regarding the gas connection, we generally recommend that your propane company handle the reconnection. While Mike is sometimes able to assist with this, we can't guarantee it in every case. We prefer to avoid scheduling gas work unless we're certain we can complete it, as any delay could leave you waiting on your propane provider afterward.
Great company for installation and services.
The company was very knowledgeable in the installation process and kept us abreast in every step. The install was done either care. My house was cared for and clean no mess left behind.
I have used this company before in my other house and again in this house. I recommend them for service and installation.

A true professional is on time
First and foremost, I appreciate Jon being on time. Being on time, is the most professional attribute of a person and the company. He was able to get there early and finish early which gave me time to take care of other things. He gave me detailed step by step instructions on what had to be done to install the EV charger. My drywall in the ceiling had to be cut open, but overall it was very neat clean cut. The work looks great, the charger was installed very neatly, and works perfect! Greatly appreciate the overall professionalism.
