This was our 2nd time here and we definitely will be back. The house keeping was not up to par this time. House was dirty under couches and some of drawers were never cleaned. Kitchen is fully equipped and bedroom linens are nice and clean. It is a beautiful house with a view to match. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 4 children. The outdoor space is great.

We had such a great time, the house was beautiful and so comfortable and convenient to the beach. Love Love Love will be back

Easy transactions. They are always available to answer any questions. Very friendly staff and conveniently located. We’ve used them in the past and already plan to use them for our next vacation.

This condo was beautifully updated and the perfect layout for a girls weekend. Only suggestion is a larger skillet and it was very small:)

We stayed in this house August 11-18 2018. This was a beautiful home with plenty of space however, it was NOT clean. I had to sweep the stair well, the screened in porch, and wipe down the patio table. My upstairs guest took a sponge and wiped around the toilet and it was just filthy. I was embarrassed they had to do that.There were cobwebs in the corners and the accessories through out the house looked liked they hadn't seen a dust cloth in years.(I took pictures) I think you need to rethink your cleaning company. We paid dearly to have a clean house. Also, we traveled 800 miles to get to this house and I brought everything, as your website suggested, and when we arrived the house did come with beach towels and pool toys. It would have been nice to know this. Aside from that it was nicely arranged and had plenty of room.

We have been going to Dewees Island for a number of years and have invited several other families and tried to spread the word. Two years ago, my review would have been 5 stars. The last couple of visits have really been a disappointment for a handful of reasons. 1. Golf Carts - always an issue. When we rented a house this year (that comes with 2 carts) one was not working. We were given the option to rent one for the week at an additional cost?!? After a big fuss, the interns were able to give us another golf cart that barely worked. 2.) As a "renter" on the island, there are a handful of owners that make you feel like you are a burden to their island community or beneath them. We have met some very nice owners as well but it seems like there are fewer of them as the years go by. 3.) Interns - used to be so helpful in taking care of anything you should need. Arrival and departure were such a breeze with their help. This year, we saw the interns when we arrived on the island and then never again.

The island is such a great getaway and vacation. My wife and I were starting to toss around the idea of buying on the island. After our experience the last couple of years, we will look elsewhere.

Well kept, clean, up to date spot with great communication from staff. Easiest rental I've ever checked into!

First of all we loved the location of the unit and the easy beach access. We were a little surprised when we had to bring our own kitchen towels, dish rags and supplies. We own two timeshares and all of these items including dish soap, dishwasher soap, extra paper towels, etc are always included. We did our best to overlook this even though we were paying of $450/night to stay in this unit and were just hoping that the unit was as great in person as it was in the pictures and it would be worth it. Unfortunately, we were let down again. The unit definitely showed some lack of maintenance and just general cleanliness. The comforter on the bed was ripped, the shower had mildew around the tub area, we weren't totally sure the sheets were clean. The dishes in the cabinets were so dirty that we had to wash them before we could use them. The coffee pot was so nasty that my wife had to completely wash it before she could even make coffee. We had to literally hunt for the sheets to the sleep sofa and to find a blanket for the sleep sofa. All in all we feel we paid for a luxury unit or at least an average unit and feel that we ended up with a Motel 6 version. All in all, this was way over priced for what we received and has really left us very disappointed. We feel that we wasted our money on this rental.

We had a wonderful time on our Charleston Coast Vacation! Every aspect of the booking process was handled with professionalism. They even provided a hair dryer for us when our property was without one! Overall excellent experience.

We choose this property for our family vacation and it was perfect for our extended family of 8. The condo was bigger than I expected and the view was amazing. We loved being right on the beach and enjoyed the outside patio everyday. The condo was beautifully decorated and was the perfect layout for us. We would definitely stay at this condo again. This vacation experience was the easiest and most relaxing our family has ever experienced. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We are definitely going to come back and you will be the ones we call. The house was perfect, the staff amazing and just the simplicity of the entire renting experience was great. Great condo, clean and very comfortable!

Our unit #324 in COV was not clean or well kept. Several lights burnt out, dryer didn't work, freezer door was open when we arrived, sliding door in master bedroom had a broken lock, no lock on sliding door in living room, toilet dirty in one bathroom and toilet paper holders in 2 bathrooms were loose and falling off the wall. This was the 4th year we rented a unit at COV and it was one of the worst units we have used. Paid a premium price for a mediocre unit. The location is great.

2nd year we have worked with them. Dunes Properties is a great company to work with.

The home was beautiful, clean and supplied some basic cleaning items
which was appreciated. The office staff was very nice and helpful when
I had questions. Would definitely like to come back.

We stayed at the Huyler House on Dewees Island in the Sweetgrass Suite. The interns were very helpful in getting us from the ferry to the accommodation. Please thank Katherine and Chris for us. The island is fabulous! We went there to escape and see birds. The birdlife there is diverse and plentiful. We didnt mind the weather, which was a bit rainy. The cart paths were flooded and we got stuck once but the locals helped us get out. By the way, we enjoyed meeting the island property owners who were so nice and helpful. Back to the property: the Sweetgrass Suite has such badly stained carpet that we put the kitchen rug over some of the worst stains so we didnt have to see them! The pool was closed for two days when we were told it was only closed on mondays. I was using the pool for post operation exercises so this was disappointing. Also, the information materials did not mention the wifi password and it took us several days to find this out. Otherwise, the accomodation was okay. So, in summary, we would rate Dewees Island with five stars and the Sweetgrass Suite with a four.

This home is very beautiful and large enough to accommodate 12 people easily. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice sizes. The master bedrooms are amazing.
The breezes off all patios were great in the evenings.
The view from the top 2 floors are amazing.
The owners/property managers need to invest some money into simple repairs. Simple things like broken electrical plates and door handles on patio doors, Leaky kitchen faucet.
The home was mostly clean, but there are definite improvements needed. The bedding? Maybe use bedding that can ALL be laundered. Stains on pillows and mattress pads. Many Blankets were found on floors in closets. Blankets not clean. Bath rugs dirty and need replaced. Mold in showers. For the price we paid, this was a disappointment. Cheap hotels do a better job.
The ease of reservation and dealing with the rental company was ideal, we did ask for extra pillowcases during the stay and they brought them right away.
Overall, great place, but really needs some general attention and cleanliness.
