We where unable to get into our room early which was ok, we where staying inside Wild Dunes. We where not even allowed to go inside and go to the beach until our property was ready, which we have done ever year that we have rented thru a a different company. All rentals are Saturday-Saturday, somehow they gave away Friday night to the people arriving the following week! I also called for an hour late check do to a very bad storm happening at the time and it was down pouring, which they allowed but after we checked out they where texting us asking us to please check out and they where coming to the property to make sure we where gone! I guess I thought that was rude and they where not any better informed that we already checked out and they had the keys to the property! Probably will never rent thru them again!

The house was ideal with 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Kitchen had everything we needed plus a gas grill on the deck. Home was very clean when we arrived with many extra towels. Walk to the beach was three minutes, walk to downtown in 15 minutes. We would definitely rent again.

This was our fourth year vacationing in Folly Beach. We’ve always used Dunes Properties to rent our house. When we became aware that work would be happening on the beach, they let us change our house to be away from the noisy work. The house was perfect for our family. If there is any problem or question, it is addressed immediately.

Great older home with a lot of charm and room to spread out. Dock on river was a new experience for us that we all loved. Short walk to great uncrowded beach. 10 adults and 3 grandchildren all Loved it!!

Check in was quick and easy. The house was dirty, the curtains were hanging off the wall, sheets were stained in one bedroom and the appeared to be some sort of electrical issue with the outlets on 1 wall. The rental agency was quick to address the curtain and had a cleaning company to reclean within a couple days. I notified them of the electrical issue upon check out as it wasn’t affecting our stay. The elevator was nice for carrying grocery’s. The outside seating is cheap and flimsy. Several in our group complained that the pillows were flat. The kitchen was stocked well and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms for our large group. The beach was very close and it was easy to carry chairs and beach stuff back and forth, there were a few chairs and boogie boards by the outdoor shower. The grill is charcoal. We will look for a different house next time we stay in Folly.

The unit we stayed in has been completely remodeled. We have been coming for several years and this year was the best. The kitchen was very well stocked. The only area that needs attention is the carpet in the doorways of the bedrooms. It’s coming up and the sharp carpet nails are exposed in 2 of the bedrooms. We had to be careful as we had a one year old crawling and put towels down to avoid any injury to her. Other than that it was an awesome experience and would seek this unit out again.

Great experience. We stayed on Dewees Island and enjoyed the island as well as the ferry rides! Making the reservation, as well as the check in and out process was very easy. Loved our Vacation!

We had a great time with friends at Surfer's Paradise! The name is fitting, during high tide, you can spot more than 2 dozen surfers directly in front of the property. Be ready to share the ocean with them. Here is some additional feedback to note.

1. Right on the beach, down the deck and on hard sand. No reason to pack for the day. It is easy to get back and forth as needed.
2. Amazing views: At high tide, it feels like the ocean is breaking under you, not in front of you. The house has solid windows across the back which provides gorgeous views from anywhere in the living areas.
3. Kitchen: Layout and equipment were great for cooking as a group.
4. Beds and Linens: Bed were all comfortable and clean linens were provided for the group.
5. Small Yard: There was a small area of yard right behind the beach which is perfect for yard games and provide a great view of the ocean/beach.
6. Outdoor shower is not private, it is open air.
7. Upstairs master suite is where the laundry and additional kitchenette is located. This makes it hard for everyone enjoying the stay to utilize this space.
8. Approximately 1.8 miles from Center Street. A golf cart or LSV is recommended.

We loved this location! Awesome view fo the ocean. The villa was in great condition and we can't wait to go back!

Dunes was helpful and very polite when planning our Folly Beach vacation and promptly attended to our needs during our stay there.

Loved the entire vacation which surprised me since I am not a beach person. The house was fantastic (Pretty in Pink) and our extended family of ten loved every minute. Thank you.

The condo was in a fantastic location and we enjoyed the beautiful beach. The pools, however, were lukewarm and not at all refreshing. We avoided them. The master bedroom and bath in the individual unit was very nicely done. The other bedrooms were minimally decorated and not at all on the level that the rent would support. The two other bathrooms were also disappointing (tiny and out of date) At least one of the tubs needs to be replaced with a stand alone shower.

We rented Paradise Peak for the second year in a row for our family beach vacation. Excellent space, enough room in the kitchen to cook (when we weren't eating out!), great proximity to downtown restaurants & shops. Most of all, easy to get out to the beach and a great balcony to sit & gaze at the ocean and, this year, the July 4th fireworks! Minor quibbles--comforter in front room is very stained & needs replacing. Balcony furniture could be updated with more comfortable chairs. Condo was very clean & ready for us with good supply of "starting" items (coffee, paper towels, etc). Loved the newly-renovated bathrooms! Communication with the office was excellent. And the pool was a wonderful temp for me--cool, not cold!. We enjoyed it a great deal when we weren't in the ocean!

the house was great! easy walk to beach and town. Room for all families. only complaint was the pillows, they were very flat. otherwise very nice and clean. would go again!

This is a great house for a large family vacation. The house is decorated impeccably and the beds are divine. The saline pool is an added benefit and much appreciated. I would have rated it 5 stars but the kitchen is poorly provisioned. Luckily, my daughter lives in Charleston and provided us with a shrimp pot, mixer, and pitchers. We also had to purchase an umbrella for the pool. I highly recommend that the owners restock the kitchen for families who plan to cook and add more furniture and umbrellas to the pool,

We loved our week at Dewees Island. It was fantastic. The beach was beautiful and unspoiled and the house we rented (Charlotte's Pearl) was very well maintained with a kitchen that had everything we needed.
