I was very easy in booking a flight to cheapoair website

When I was booking my flight online,
1) I was unable to correct a typo and found the website confusing as it ended up booking thought CheapOAir. When I contacted them about the typo, I was told I had to pay for them to make the correction.
2) I know that when I selected New Brunswick, I was starting to get emails for St. John's. When I realized that this was Newfoundland not New Brunswick, I phoned. The person told me that I had selected the airport code for NL. I informed the person I did not know the codes for the airports and he was very persistent that I had made the error when I know for a fact that I had selected St. John New Brunswick. When the correction was made, the person told me it would be an additional $217. I told him I could not pay that amount. he managed to lower the cost. My point is why should I have paid an additional amount when it was not my error!!!
The person I spoke to was about to suggest additional costs, for instance for baggage. I told him I did not know what size of baggage I will be travelling with and will look after this later. I was not happy with the person's attitude and customer service.

I bought the travel insurance. I unfortunately have to cancel my flight and they say they dont give refunds! On the first page of their site it says EASY CANCELLATIONS!!! Scammers trick you into thinking you are protected, I dont fly often so Ive never had to cancel a flight before.
On my billing details it says Travel protection (trip cancellation, trip delay, plus more) $49.49
further down it says for cancelations and refunds click here. Im so mad!! Like i can just throw away $940! My mother died awhile back and it was decided for me to wait till summer and we'd have a memorial. Her partner just got admitted to the hospital 5 days before my flight so the memorial is pushed off till he gets better. im giving plenty of notice to have the seat sold to someone else! Im fighting it but im just very disgusted by this practice.

Not impressed by the fact my airfare rose $50 from checking on flights yesterday, to booking same flight today!
