Still waiting for them to respond and refund me the £50 the owe me. I paid for a £50 Asda voucher in November. Which I still haven't received, the voucher they sent me had a balance of £0
Avoid this company so many better cash back sites out there.

Initially sceptical about the app, but have continued to use Cheddar successfully for about 3 months.

The app is easy to use and finally there is a search bar which makes finding retailers easier. The new gift card method takes some time getting used to but the instant cashback is a welcome upside.

My disappointment with Cheddar is with the customer support and actually gaining access to any means of contacting the company. The app makes you go through many links just to find a form to fill in and the website is no different.

On one occasion of using the app I was in the process of completing a £50 gift card order and everything seemed like it had worked, however the Cheddar app never provided my gift card. The issue occurred on 12/12/2024 and we are now into the new year and still I have not received my money back or any communication from the company.

To everyone using the app, be very cautious when making a large purchase.

11/04/24 Update:
The latest update to the Cheddar app has brought many positive user interface improvements, however there are still some parts that need attention.

There still isn't a way for you to remove old payment requests, when speaking to customer service they said it is possible, but still I have not found a way.

Since my original review I have not found any improvement in the overall speed or competencey of the Cheddar customer service team.

I wasn't so sure of this app, however, I tried it a couple of times, and I did get cash back instantly.
However, I always forget to buy gift cards and use them, I wish there was an option that detects your location in partner stores and it gives you a reminder to use it.

A way to save few pounds whilst doing essential shopping which is helpful.

Love this app, between the open banking tracking of purchases (like the Trainline) to buying gift cards for things like my weekly shop the cashback adds up without me noticing.

It might seem like a few pence here and there but it's so worth it when the things you're buying anyway are giving you money back.

It’s a very easy app to use and you get get to add all your cards! The vouchers with cashback are great

Great app. Decent rates of cashback and love that you can get cashback through direct spend and not just through purchasing a gift card. The only one small downside is that the gift card purchased isn’t always immediately available so makes spontaneous spending less possible. Hence deducted a star from what would be a full 5 star review

So simple to set up and once you get into the routine of it all it is amazing. There are so many gift cards to buy it can change the way you shop significantly. I buy for everyday purchases and as gift cards to easily share with others for presents. I have used this for a year whilst being on a really tight budget and have managed to save enough money to buy my Xmas dinner!

Super easy to set up and straightforward to use, cheddarpay has become part of my weekly shopping routine making money back off money I’m already needing to spend.

Great platform and if you think about it, you get cash back just from doing your day to day shopping.
I wish the app allowed users search for company names as currently you can only view categories and you have to scroll through the entire list to see if you can locate a company.

Great app, easy to use and you can start saving from day one. Intuitive design means that your bank transactions can be automatically linked to save you money without changing your normal spending.

Good Cashback percentage on Tesco voucher. However cheddar was better when you received Cashback at Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Tesco. Now it takes ages to get to £5 (minimum amount to cash out) after I’ve reached this I will probably delete the app if it doesn’t improve
