Bungee lead shipped from China
Purchased a bungee lead - was expecting this to come from the UK given the company presents themselves as a British company based in Britain. The lead however was shipped from China - this concerned me given the quality of items that can originate from China (not to mention the unsustainable nature of shipping from China to UK). Nevertheless, thought I’d give the lead a try. However, less than 3 months later the carabiner has worn away and has detached from our dog’s harness a couple of times. Our dog is a Miniature Schnauzer so not exactly that strong. The quality is unfortunately as I suspected it would be, poor. Really disappointing to market yourselves as a British company and sell rubbish quality items from China!
Following communication with the business, amending this to a 4 star. Although I still have reservations about imported products as a result of the leads failure, the response from the business has been excellent- they immediately refunded the amount for the lead and have offered to test it themselves so they can understand how it failed.

We source some of our products internationally to get the best stock and at a price point we believe is fair. Many of the products we sell simply aren't available from UK suppliers, and sourcing further afield allows us to offer quality that we're confident in at a price that works for dog owners. Every product we sell is one we've tested ourselves, and the bungee lead is one we use daily with our own French Bulldog Mila.
That's why your experience with the carabiner genuinely concerns me. It's not what we've experienced, and it's not the standard we'd ever accept. I'll be reaching out to you directly to understand exactly what's happened and to put this right.

Elliot and Mila from Chillypups are so amazing and very helpful, I ordered a christmas jumper for my spaniel and it hadn't been delivered yet for Christmas, I contacted Chillypups who were so helpful and kept on top of the delivery company and supplied me with a discount voucher even though the fault was not with them but the delivery especially at Christmas time, I will be ordering more fantastic products from Chillypups, my dog will be one spoiled dog

Feels like a con
This company’s website makes it seem like you’re supporting a very small British business, when in fact the items are shipped to you from China (takes ages) and are of very poor quality. Utterly disappointing.
