Pie and mash train journey
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The train journey had lovely scenery. The pie and mash meal was very tasty.

Bombay Express.
We all had a wonderful time on the Bombay Express.
We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at the train station and we were seated promptly in lovely comfortable carriage.
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very attentive.
Train ride was scenic and relaxing.
Can't wait to travel with you again.

All the staff where helpful and…
All the staff where helpful and friendly. And the ticket checker on the train remembered us from a previous visit so we had a nice chat with him.my grandson age 10 loves it and he had a nice bacon cob in the cafe before we got on the train

A five Star service
A five Star service from the moment of booking to alighting the train after a deliciously tasty meal.
Staff were friendly and accommodating and even went beyond to make our friends birthday a little more special. We told her not to press the red lever :-)
We took the Greek Dining option to celebrate the birthday but we will be back to sample the other dining options.
The only minor disappointment was that the dessert was not really as described on the menu but this didn't spoil a fun evening and an overall First Class experience.

A great night to have a curry on a…
A great night to have a curry on a train. Service was impeccable, food was delicious.
Travelling through the countryside with steam coming from the engine was a delight for any train enthusiasts. Comfy seats, piped music. My husband loved it as did I. Pre-order your drinks, saves waiting. Would highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere. The train was spotless, the food good, the staff very friendly and the scenery superb. Loved every minute.

Curry
Had the curry, photo shown was curry in a dish what was served up was a plate with nann bread curry and rice, this is a big no for me as the nann bread was soggy from the curry sauce. A bottle of water was provided between 4 people.If you had a table seating 2 the same size bottle was provided.

This was the third time we have been on…
This was the third time we have been on the Breakfast Train and again we had a really enjoyable time. The food was excellent, especially the sausages and great value. The staff were all lovely and very smart - looking forward to the next time.

A perfect experience for steam train fans
I booked the Spud and Steam trip for myself and two adult daughters for my birthday treat.
The booking experience was easy and the checking in took only minutes.
We collected our jacket potatoes and got on the train which left promptly. We ate our food whilst enjoying a lovely two hour trip through the countryside and arrived back at Froghall at the time it said we would.
A lovely experience which I would highly recommended
